It was investigation time, it had been a long week but the guys were ready but Zak needed to call u before they went in.
I was just coming inside from walking Gracie when my phone rang. I noticed it was Zak and answered it. "Hey!" "Hey you. I just wanted to call u and let u know that we were about to head inside and start the investigation." "Ok! How's it going?" I asked. "So far so good...I'm alittle nervous but I'll be ok!" He said. I didn't say anything, "You ok?" I let out a small sigh, "I don't know I just want to know ur gonna be safe!" "Hey listen to me, ok I promise I will be safe, we have taking all the necessary precautions and are ready to get this done." I didn't say anything, "I love you!" He said just before he hung up. I took a deep breath and hung up my phone just before I tossed it on the counter. Gracie looked at me with sad puppy eyes, "I know girl, I'm worried about him too!" And with that I went upstairs.
I laid in bed just staring at the ceiling. I turned and looked at the clock and it was just after 1:30, "Don't worry Shayne, Zak can hold his own. Don't be silly he will be fine!" I thought to myself. I finally went to sleep but not for long.
I was in a deep sleep when around 3:15 am I jumped as I got a shooting pain across my chest. I couldn't move or breath. It seemed to last almost 5 minutes before it finally went away. Once it was gone i laid there trying to make sense of what had just happened. It scared me so bad that I was not able to go back to sleep the rest of the night. Little did I know that something was happening to one of the guys in the Asylum.
