"Ok, let me get this straight." It's been about 2 hours since Adrian explained his strange situation. I just can't wrap my head around any of this.

He's floating on his back a few feet above my bed. Arms behind his head. Feet crossed. I stopped what I was saying to look at him. "Why don't you just lay on the actual bed?" He turns his head and looks at me, slowly lowering till he disappears through the bed. He comes back up with 'really?' Look on his face.

"Oh yea you're dead..."
I'm not dead. My body is very much alive... I'm just not in it at the moment.
"Yea, that. Anyway what was I saying? Oh yea, so you found a door in the middle of the woods so you went inside without thinking about the consequences."

"And when you turned around you weren't in your body anymore but you saw your body but it wasn't YOU in it, right?"

"So you need me to help you get your body back."

"Why me?"
He shoots up and walks over to me, well float I guess. And grabs me by the arms.
Because you're the only one who can see and hear me. Heck you can touch me too. I've been everywhere in the world looking for someone to help me. Not even those weird medium ladies could hear me. But YOU can. YOU can help me.
He steps back a little. Running a hand through his strangely well groomed hair. Now that I think about it. This is the first time I really looked at him since I freaked out earlier. He looks the same as fake Adrian. Well real Adrian with a different person inside... he's kinda see through and he doesn't really have feet. His legs just fade into nothing mid calf. He has no facial hair and kinda long black hair. He's wearing jeans with a plain gray tee.
"Why do you have clothes?"
He turns around so fast a chill went down my back.
What do you mean 'why do you have clothes?' Would you prefer me naked? I can take this off ya know.
He takes off his shirt. Unbuckling his jeans the shirt disappears into nothing.
"DON'T YOU DARE." He stops what he was doing. "I mean, if you left you're body when in 5th grade how do you have clothes that fit you?"
Oh. I don't know. I just kinda think about a shirt or something and poof there it is.
As he's explaining a new shirts appears in place of the last one. This time black.
It doesn't work with shoes though. I uh- I don't really have feet.
He looks down at his legs sadly.
"Uh huh. Alright. So how are we getting your body back?" I say. Moving over to sit on the bed. "Like do we need an exorcism or something?" He moves back over to the bed and sits on the edge next to me hovering just above the bed.
Uh I don't know. I never thought I would get this far. I thought I was just gonna be stuck like this forever.
"Well there's a party coming up soon. This Saturday I think. Adrian invited me t-"

Don't call him Adrian. I'm Adrian. He looks like an Alec or an Axel.
"What do you mean 'he looks like an Axel.' He's in your body. He looks like you."
Well yea I know. But like I can see him. His actual spirit I guess. I can't see anyone else's. Only his. Probably cuz he's in MY body.
Interesting. Why can't I see him? Aren't I the one with the weird spirit power things. I've only been able to see a few. 2 in the What I've called the spirit realm and 2 in the actual world. So I guess that's my power. But I can touch and talk to Adrian, so maybe I'm a hybrid?? Mom said our family has only ever had 1 power each. Huh weird.
"Well anyway 'Axel' invited me to the party but I declined."
GO. GO TO THE PARTY. THIS IS OUR CHANCE TO INVESTIGATE. YOU HAVE TOO. FIGURE OUT WHY HES IN MY BODY.
"HECK NO I HATE HIM. HE EVIL AND A REAL JACKA-"
"Sweetie are you awake? Who are you talking too?" My mom walked in with a glass of water and pain pills.
"What? Can't you see h-" I look over at Adrian who has a finger over his lips, Shushing me. He stands and floats over to my mom. Trying to touch her arm. His finger passes through her sending a chill up her arm.
"Oooo it's chilly in here." She says rubbing her arm where his finger was. He just stands off to the side looking at his hand. "Here, I brought you some medicine. I remember when the power first affected me. I got the biggest migraine. I could only talk to spirits but WOW were they loud the first time. So what can you do then??" She gives me the water and pill. I swallow the medicine before talking.
"Well uh I can talk to them."
"WOAH JUST LIKE ME. IM SO PROUD OF YOU OH M-"
"And see them." I say looking over at Adrian. Now looking back at me from the corner of the room.
"Wait, What?"
"And touch them." Now I'm standing walking towards him.
"You're a hybrid? That's never happened before that I know of.... Wait is there someone here right now?" I nod. " And you can see, touch and talk to them?" Again I nod.
I put my arm out to Adrian. "Grab my arm." He does what I say. My mom looks at the spot on my arm when his hand squeezed slightly. Then he lets go.
"Oh my God. A legend is passed down in our family that there will be a daughter that will inherit every power known to the curse. It's never happened before. You're the one to fulfill the legend." Her eyes light up as she looks at me. Adrian is just staring me. Jaw dropped. Oh right I forgot to tell him about the curse.
"...what?"
