One week Later

Princess Mei sat under the Lean-to, looking out at over Qing Qiu Lake watching Ye Hua and Bai Qian.  They had been on the lake for hours enjoying the sun in the row boat which was aimlessly drifting, talking and laughing about what, she didn't know, and nor did she care.  They could have been talking about her which she cared even less about.  The only thing going through her mind was her deep hate for the woman who had snatched him out from under her.

Just that morning, having lasted just over a week, Ye Hua had pulled her aside to 'in his words' talk.  But the moment he opened his mouth, she knew she would have no say in the discussion.  Though thinking about it now, he had given her plenty of opportunities to have her say, only she was so dumbfounded by his complete disregard for her and her feelings that she had sat there looking like a stupid school girl having been caught lusting on a boy that was out of her league.

And 'out of her league' was exactly how he had described himself.  She was not worthy of him, had no class, was base born and not even worth a single strand of hair on Bai Qians head, he had told her, before also telling her to go home and leave them alone or better still build a hobbit hole and hibernate, forever.

A hobbit! she thought to herself angrily.  He had actually called her a hobbit and to think she would have built him a beautiful Palace from the foundations up had that bitch not arrived, she swore to herself as their laughter drifted across the lake towards her.

The day was beautiful and full of promise, so many wonderful experiences could be had on a day like this, instead she sat sadly as her mind went over everything they had put her through that week.

Not only had she had nothing to eat but loquats, under cooked rice and scaly fish for breakfast lunch and dinner, but they no longer bothered to call her when the meals were ready and even worse, they left her meals on a side table away from them forcing her to eat alone.

They even stopped talking to her altogether, ignoring any questions or requests, and basically acting as if she wasn't even here.  Not even their tree sprite has manners, she thought angrily, after an earlier run in with him.  She merely asked him if the Bai family grew their own vegetables, in the hope that he might harvest some for their meal that night, but the sprite completely ignored her and walked passed without a word.

Then when she berated him sharply for his lack of manners with a reminder that she out ranked him and he did not have the right to disrespect her, Bai Qians brother Bai Zhen suddenly flew at her.  Grabbing a handful of her hair and yanking her head back, he said if she berated their sprite again, he would turn her hair into slippers for him, meaning her crowning glory was worth no more than house slippers for a lowly servant, and going by the way Zhe Yan had jumped in to soothe him, she thought he may have actually followed through with his threat.

But the greatest humiliation to date, happened during a visit to the Qing Qiu marketplace to buy fish.  Having selected the one they wanted, the man put the fish onto a wire carrier before handing to Ye Hua, who automatically flicked his eyes towards her.

Not only did she have to carry the fish like some lowly servant, she also had to carry the basket of loquats and bags of rice as well as a dress for Bai Qia which was literally thrown over her head.  And not once did their accompanying sprite assist as he should have done, instead he also added items to her pile to carry, while completely ignoring the fact that she was struggling under the weight.

But they were not finished with her.  Reaching the den, they then retired to their bed chamber to make love which they did at least three times a day, every day!  Whether she was in the chamber or not, they didn't care, the sounds of their love making and the tender words he spoke to her during orgasm, always had her in tears.
