"Ye Hua!" Mo Yuan called out as his brother caught a cloud and left just as he arrived.

Turning briefly, Ye Hua pulled Bai Qian a little closer before disappearing from view leaving his brother glaring after him

Giving Lian Song and Tian Shu the order to return to the Palace immediately, he caught a cloud of his own before giving chase. He saw the flicker of recognition on his brothers face, and that he had chosen to ignore him, and knowing he was purposely hiding, had Mo Yuans anger rising.

Soaring faster than the two on the cloud in front of him, Mo Yuan could clearly see his brother and the young man with him, but when Ye Hua looked back, then purposely sped up, Mo Yuan threw out a lure to bring his cloud to a halt.

"YE HUA!" his voice boomed across the heavens as he brought his brother to heel.

Turning, Ye Hua quickly pushed Bai Qian behind him before whispering at her to stay there, as Mo Yuan approached fuming.

He knew his absence and lack of communication with his family would cause trouble, but the look of anger on his brothers face, suddenly had him realizing just how much trouble he was in.

Having never gone anywhere in his life without an escort, to be gone for 2 whole weeks without a word to anyone was punishable, especially in the eyes of his Grandfather, who no doubt had sought Mo Yuans assistance to find him.

Though Mo Yuan had always taken his side in everything that concerned his Grandfather, but that he was this angry, suddenly had him lowering to his knees on his cloud, dragging Bai Qian down with him. "Don't say anything and keep your head down." He whispered as Mo Yuans cloud joined his own.

Having been tutored on Kunlun Mountain under his brother as well as guided and protected, Ye Hua saw Mo Yuan as more of a father figure than a brother, and that's exactly how Mo Yuan approached him, as he stepped onto his cloud in front of them.

Standing tall and straight with his hands behind his back, Mo Yuan glared down at his brother who had suddenly taken on a look of petulance.

"I suggest you send your friend home Ye Hua." He said as a pair of large doe eyes peeked out from behind his shoulders to look at the man who had suddenly put Ye Hua on his knees.

But the sudden appearance of a man who couldn't be anyone else but his brother, suddenly had Bai Qian excited. The War God himself, was right there in front of her, a man she vaguely remembered from when she was little, a faint recollection of sandalwood and men in white robes.

Tugging on the back of his robe, Ye Huas arm shot around to pull her towards him protectively. "Ye Hua." She whispered up at the back of head.

"Shhh... "he hushed her gently as Mo Yuan continued to glare down at the both of them.

"She's not going anywhere Da Ge." Ye Hua stated firmly, completely ignoring his brothers raised brows, instead challenging it with a look of defiance, that would have earned him immediate punishment had they been on Kunlun mountain.

"She?" Mo Yuan asked with an even higher rise of his brows.

Peeking over Ye Huas shoulder once more, Bai Qian blinked up at the man as his eyes swung around to look back at her, while Ye Huas arm held her firmly against him.

"She is not going anywhere, and nor am I." Ye Hua said stubbornly.

Ignoring his blatant defiance, Mo Yuan ordered Bai Qian to move forward, but the tight grip that Ye Hua had on her, saw her firmly held in place along with the stubborn look of refusal to let her go.  Watching as the girl struggled to free herself and Ye Hua struggling to keep her there, Mo Yuan once again lost patience.
