Tucking her into her own bed, the Empress sat gracefully beside her daughter and looked down.  It was still the middle of the afternoon in the Immortal Realm, but because she was so weak having battled an illness without her powers to assist her, her mother thought it best that she rest for the day and they could talk when she was feeling better.

"Why is he here mother?" she asked angry that he had followed them back, or that he was even there at all after what he did.

Looking down at her, her mothers anger also began to rise, but it wasn't the time for harsh words.  "We can all talk once you have rested." she said as Zhe Yan entered with a steaming cup which was no doubt medicine.

Turning her nose up at it, she turned her head away.  "I don't want it." she said stubbornly pursing her lips together before turning her face away.

"Xiao Wu, it will make you feel better." He said lightly as he continued to move towards her holding it out for her to take.  "You are still weak, you've lost too much weight and your powers are out of alignment, this will help." he said softly as her mother tried to turn her face towards her.

Fully turning onto her side, so her back was to him completely, not even the efforts of her mother could have her turning back around to take the medicine.  Almost since the day she was born, they had fought long hard battles to get her to take it, sometimes she won, most times she didn't, but the older she got, the harder it became.

"Qian Qian, stop it.  You are not a child anymore, now turn around." Her mother berated her firmly, but nothing she said or did would have her turning, not even the entrance of her father who could never put up with her insolence for long.  Growling her harshly, she ignored him too.

"Qian Qian, please take the medicine." Ye Hua said entering the room as he took the cup and with a look at her mother, who rose instantly, he took her place beside her.  Sitting down, he glanced back at her family, who all understood the look. Turning,  they left the chamber before closing the door gently, leaving then alone, which instantly fired her anger.

Turning angrily she faced him.  "Get the hell out you traitor." she screamed at him as her hand came up to knock the cup from his grasp sending it flying across the room.  With fire in her eyes, a sight he had never seen before, she rose up off the bed, clutching at the bed base to support the sudden rise of dizziness.  Managing to hold herself upright as she glared at him in anger.

"Qian Qian, I'm not the one who betrayed our relationship." he seethed at the sudden violent outburst as the fire in his own eyes erupted having managed to keep it at bay all day.  Now no longer caring for her family, he let it explode.  Grabbing her shoulders roughly he shook her.

"I am not the one who sought comfort in another mans bed!" he roared as she began to cry, though more in anger as she glared back at him.

"Don't you dare put this on me Ye Hua.  It's all your fault.  You're the one who went to her after everything we went through.  You're the one who gave up on us and allowed that bitch to seduce you.  Go back to your whore!" she screamed as she stumbled off the bed to run from the room.

Ignoring the throbbing pain she almost made it to the door, before a roaring filled the air.  With an almighty burst of energy, Ye Hua flew off the bed after her before fully enveloping her in his arms and as the ground fell away beneath her feet, the throb in her head grew more painful as the cold air rushed through her hair and about her face.  It was only a few seconds but it was enough to leave her breathless as the pain continued to throb.

Feeling solid ground once again beneath her feet, she suddenly stumbled forward to her knees as nausea ripped through her.  Holding onto her head she tried to clear her mind and bring her body back under control.  Not realizing how ill she still was, she tried to stand only to fall forward again.
