The Celestial Palace.

Arriving at the main entrance, Mo Yuan ordered the guards aside to allow his entourage through, though the sight of Ye Hua with him, had one of them leaving immediately to notify the Skylord of his return, and knowing that the news would garner a reward, he wasted no time.

This was Bai Qians first visit to the Celestial Palace, and knowing how impressive it was to first time visitors, Ye Hua smiled down at her. "Much of what you see, are private residences." He said as they passed Lord Dong Hua Di Juns Taichen Palace.

Stopping briefly to peek through the open Palace doors, Bai Qian caught a glimpse of the parlour, and the pure opulence of what she could see took her breath away. Everyone knew the Great God lived a life of luxury having conceded the position of Heavenly ruler once world peace was achieved so with nothing to keep him there and fast becoming bored, he had handed the mantel over to The Skylord, Ye Huas Grandfather.

Wanting to see a little more of the Great Gods Palace she looked back once to ensure Ye Hua was still there, but as she took a step forward, 2 Palace guards suddenly appeared before her, their swords drawn and crossed to block her entrance and view.

Jumping back, Ye Hua quickly embraced her waist protectively. "Qian Qian, be careful, many of these residences require express permission to enter." He informed her while gently pulling her back before leading her forward to catch up to Mo Yuan who had continued on without them.

And as she continued with Ye Hua by her side, Bai Qian suddenly began to realize what marrying him would mean. Not only were their lives and worlds so different, she would have to acclimatize herself to their way of life, because what she had just seen was so out of her comfort zone, she began to wonder if she would fit in.

And the sudden thought of armed guards refusing her family entry without 'express permission' had her turning her head sharply towards Ye Hua. "Ye Hua, I refuse to have armed guards if we are to marry." She stated firmly which brought her whole group to a halt to hear his answer, understanding in an instant, her displeasure of being kept confined, which in her eyes, that is what the guards signified.

Giving her a soft gentle look, one she loved very much, he turned her to face him. "When we marry..." he said with emphasis, "You can choose your own Palace staff Qian Qian. However, as my wife and the next Heavenly Empress, you will have a guard with you at all times." He said firmly, because he was right.

But that thought, only had her mind going off on a tangent as the image of Mi Gu guarding her Palace with a tray of tea in one hand and an armful of laundry in the other had her suddenly erupting into a fit of giggles as she lost herself to the insane image.

"Xiao Wu!" her brother Bai Yi's voice snapped as he swung around to glare at her. "Please try to keep up the pretence." He said harshly as her large doe eyes sparkled back at him, before lowering.

Knowing how quickly the girls mind could meander regardless of where she was, her family all chuckled at her antics. Ye Hua too was coming to learn of this habit, so taking her hand, he gently led her forward, to give her something else to focus on. Tickling the inside of her palm of with his finger, he smiled softly as her body suddenly jolted. The action being a silent hidden sexual innuendo usually used by new lovers and one that had her soft cheeks burning brightly as she looked about to make sure no one else had seen it.

Looking up at him with a smirk, Ye Hua, gave her a wide grin. "We're almost there." He said as the steep stair case that lead to the Heavenly Parlour came into view.

Taking in the magnificent sight of the grand staircase, Bai Qian was in awe. This was a place she had only heard of, and though the descriptions had been numerous and varied, they all came to the same conclusion, it was truly stunning. Almost wanting to run ahead, they were all suddenly brought to a halt by the sound of Ye Huas name being called along with the sound of running feet and soft panting.
