lisa had finally returned from the restroom. she looked like she had been drained out of energy. rosé sighed when she seen her and finished eating her food, trying to find some way to make this up to lisa.

"alright, we have some news that we've been waiting to tell you," rosé's mother clasped her hands together and placed them in her lap as she looked into lisa's mother's eyes. they smiled at each other after grabbing each other's hands. "you guys are gonna be big sisters."

"you're pregnant?" lisa was the first to ask. rosé was too busy sipping on her soda, not paying attention at all so, she didn't hear anything.

"wait, what?"

"yeah, i'm pregnant," rosé's mother smiled as she rubbed her small belly. it didn't even look like she was expecting at all, but she was and she seemed pretty happy about it, clearly blind by all the drama that was going on in this family. "aren't you happy?"

"yeah." rosé forced a smile on her face. honestly, rosé felt really bad for the baby. this baby was gonna be born through so much. having to deal with two sisters that loved each other and trying to keep it a secret if ever found out. things just weren't right in the manoban family.

no one should be born in this family right now or ever. this marriage wasn't even supposed to happen. it just did and when it was announced, rosé nor lisa couldn't do anything about it.

"lisa, wait," rosé followed lisa into her bedroom. they had just arrived at home from their lunch, but once they arrived, lisa didn't even wanna face anyone, feeling like her love meant nothing to rosé in any way. "i can explain."

"explain then," lisa really wanted to hear what pathetic excuse that rosé was gonna try and make it since nothing could possibly fix at this point. "what pathetic excuse do you have now?"

"you don't know how hard it is for me to tell my family that i'm gay, lisa. your mother knows you like girls, mine doesn't. she doesn't believe in me dating girls because she believes that's not who i am." rosé explained.

lisa stepped out of her doorway before sitting down with rosé. she's been through this before with her father. he felt like he didn't do a good job as a father to lisa because he never knew she was gay until she told him. "yeah, i might not know what it feels like to come out because my mother already knew, but rosé, you have to get over your fear of coming out. it's only gonna make things worse if she finds out before you tell her because then, she's gonna feel like she was a bad mother to you. she's gonna feel like she never gave you the chance to live the life you wanted. rosé, you're her first child, you need to tell her."

rosé didn't wanna cry, but she already had a few tears sliding down her pink cheeks. she definitely didn't want her mother to feel like she failed as her mother because her mother was all she had. her father was non-existent in her life. after her dad left, rosé was always under her mother. "thanks, lisa."

"so, you gonna tell her?"

"yeah, but sometime soon."

"eh, how about now," lisa pulled her and rosé up as they walked to the living room where their parents were. "mom, rosé has something to tell you."

rosé was completely frozen. everything was moving too fast for her to even process the moment that she was in until she remembered what lisa had told her.

tell her, rosé.

"um, mom, um," rosé stammered over and over again. she was too busy looking into her mother's worried eyes. she felt like she waited too long to tell her mother this, but now was better than telling her on her wedding day. "i like girls." rosé clasped her hands together, looking down at her feet once the news was released.

rosé's mother let out a air of breath that sounded like she had been holding it in for a long time. "yes!"

"you're not mad?"

"no, why would i be mad? you do realize that i'm married to a woman, rosé?"

"oh, yeah." rosé chuckled, embarrassed, but happy that her mother was okay with it, overall. she smiled and hugged her mother. rosé felt like she had lifted a weight off of her chest after she had released the news, but there was still a little weight on her shoulders when she remembered her father. he was against homosexuals.

"so we cool?"

"yeah, we're cool."

rosé and lisa wrapped their arms around each other, happily. they made up which wasn't a surprised since they were both whipped for each other. the girls just loved each other so much and couldn't describe really what they felt when they were together, they just felt like things were way better when they were together.

"we should all hang out tomorrow. things have been a little distant between all of us." rosé suggested as she stroked lisa's soft, brown, and short hair. rosé absolutely adored lisa's soft hair. it might sound weird a bit, but it was true. she also loved the green apple scent that lisa's hair inherited from her green apple shampoo.

"wow, let's be prepared for the most awkward lunch date ever between four best friends." lisa said in a sarcastic tone. so much stuff was happening between the four of them. jisoo and jennie were so oblivious to each other's feelings for each other and rosé and lisa couldn't fall in love the way they wanted to.

"we've been going through so much lately that maybe a little get-together wouldn't hurt much."

"whatever you say, my love. text them, then." lisa laid down on rosé's bed, tracing the navy blue elephants on rosé's pillow.

"my love, where did that sweet nickname come from?" rosé blushed, texting away on her phone to hide her red cheeks from lisa.

"my heart, obviously."
