I sat curled up on the couch with my boyfriend's beat up laptop, watching another episode of 'Law & Order' when I heard the roar of a motorcycle coming closer towards the trailer. I sighed but placed the laptop on the coffee table and got up from the couch, already knowing who it was before he even walked in.

"Jeez, Sweet Pea," I said coming closer to him and seeing the forming black eye on his face and who knows how many more "At least tell me he looks worse than you do"

"You have no idea, Baby," He told me with a smirk while taking off his serpent jacket and hanging it up next to mine

"Good, he deserves it for putting a gun to my boyfriend's head," I told him leaning up a little to give him a quick but sweet kiss "Now go and dry up before you get sick, Sweets"

As he went into the bathroom to take those wet clothes off and shower, I went to the kitchen to grab the first aid kit in the cabinet. With both of us being a southside serpent it means many things, like being extremely loyal and protective of each other but most importantly having to fix up the other after any fight we get into.

Sweet pea getting into more than I do of course with his short-temper and always looking like he wants to start a fight. After he finished showering, he stepped into our room and sat beside me on the edge of the bed shirtless.

"I'm still mad at you for not letting me go, you know," I said as I pulled out the things I would need

"You're sick, Babydoll," He told me looking at me like I was crazy, before continuing, "And there's no way you were going to that fight if you didn't even have the energy to go to school" leaning in for a kiss

I rolled my eyes playfully but leaned in to deepen the kiss. Almost instantly Sweet Pea moved me to sit on his lap with my legs on either side of his as I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him as close as I possibly could. Every time Sweet Pea and I kissed, it always felt like our first kiss all over again.

The butterflies I feel after every kiss, the way everything around us disappeared and just being with each other as if nothing else mattered. I pulled away a little looking into his dark brown eyes that showed the same amount of love mine probably did right now.

"School is different from a fight, Pea," I told him before going back to cleaning up his injuries "And I wanted to see my boyfriend beat up jughead's Northside friend with the boys."

"He wasn't by himself though so we had to deal with his buddies," Sweet Pea said placing his hands on my hips "but Andrews' girl fired a gun in the air and we had to leave before the cops showed up"

"How're the others doing?" I asked worried about the only family I had left "They didn't get hurt to bad right?"

"They'll be fine," He said tracing soothing circles on my skin "They're used to it and so are you-"

"You're right I am but that doesn't mean it hurts any less than the first time" I interrupted "Or that just cause I've seen them beaten up doesn't mean I'll get used to it"

After cleaning Sweet Pea up, we laid on the bed with my head resting on his chest. We laid there and just talked about absolutely anything that popped up until we fell asleep.

Only waking up to the sound of knocks on the trailer door. Sweet pea groaned but got up already knowing it was the police. I sat up on the bed after him and leaned against the door watching as he was cuffed and taking out of the trailer. I went back into the room to grab my phone before driving to the station on my Harley.

"I don't see any Northsiders being hauled into any of those cells," I said walking into the station fixing my jacket a little "Let them go, Sheriff"

I spent that night convincing Keller to let the rest of the serpents go and helping some clean up their injuries as they talked about the fight.
