The student council. Basically teaching kids how to control everything. In the Southside, we never had a student council which isn't very surprising. Yet we aren't in the Southside anymore.
But anyway let me give you the rundown on this. Betty and Jughead were running together. Veronica and Archie were also partnered up, no surprise there. And lastly, Mantle and Josie were working together.
"Okay, now just a quick reminder, that this school hall is a PTA sponsored event" Alice explained noticing Sweet Pea stand up "Oh, looks like we have our first question"
"Yeah, no offense to the, uh, current administration, but it doesn't feel like anyone's looking out for the students who are being bussed in the Southside," He said, "Is that gonna change?"
"Absolutely, Sweet Pea" Jughead answered "And no one should feel marginalized or excluded here"
"Jughead and I will be representing all students, North and Southside alike" Betty continued
"Next question?" Midge stood up "Yes, Midge?"
"My question is for Archie and Veronica. Rumor has it that your parents will soon be on opposite sides of the Mayoral election, won't that negatively affect your working relationship?"
"Archie and I adhere to the old maxim that "politics are never discussed" at the dinner or the cafeteria table" Veronica answered
"Veronica and I are on the same page about everything, including her family's plans for a prison on the Southside" Archie answered causing a bunch of booing and murmurings
Well, I know who I'm not voting for. Veronica was quick to speak, "In the meantime, however, we're committed to improving the quality of the life at Riverdale High, which means more extracurriculars"
"Reggie and I agree" Josie interrupted "Except, add the fact that we can and will deliver results"
"And we're chill, unlike these guys"

"You promised us a war" Sweet Pea argued "Then you're on stage looking like Buddy Holly, sucking up to the Northside?"
"We need their votes, Sweet Pea" Jughead explained as he stood at the front of the board with the club symbol "Whoever's elected gets a seat on the School Board. That means we're on the inside, that means they can't silence us"
"You and the Northside Princess, you mean?" Fangs retorted as we turned to look at the said blonde
"Wait, is that why you guys are pissed? Betty's on our side!"
"Yeah. I've helped the Serpents on numerous occasions" She claimed "I've helped find the Pickens statue's head. I got Cheryl to testify in court so FP, your king, could get early parole"
"You did all that for your boyfriend, not the Serpents" Sweet Pea insisted as I played with the rings on his fingers to keep him calm
"All right, take it down, Sweet Pea"

"Okay, so your objections aren't even about me, they're about my mom"
"Her legacy, yeah. She's an enemy of the Serpent State taking shots at us in the Register for years, blaming us for crimes we didn't commit" Sweet turned towards Jughead, eyes narrowed yet his hand squeezed mine as he kept going "Running with the turncoat's daughter is a slap in the face. And that reason alone, you're not getting the Serpent vote"
I didn't speak as I gently pulled him out of the room. Once we were out, he pulled me into a hug, "I get you're pissed, babe, but the girl can't be blamed for her backstabbing mom"
"You're on their side?"
"No, I'm just tired of the arguing"
He stayed quiet as he played with my hair, "How're you feeling?"
"I don't wanna--"
"Princess, please" He begged, lifting my chin up "You aren't in this alone. Ride or die, remember?"

"What do you mean, Cheryl's missing?" Veronica asked standing beside Josie
"Do you remember how paranoid Cheryl was at her slumber party?" Toni reminded "Saying that her mom and uncle were out to get her? Well, I think they did something to her"
"What kind of something?"
"Her mom said they sent her off to some all-girl boarding school in Switzerland" Toni explained
"Well, that's easy enough to check, there's only one, Surval Montreux"
"Please. If Cheryl was in the Swiss Alps, she'd be posting parka selfies every hour, but her social media's been dead for days"
"That explains it" I chimed in checking Cheryl's social as they created the game plan

"Now that you've barged your way in, go ahead, girls, ask your questions," Penelope said as Josie, Toni, and Veronica sat in front of the fire leaving me with the armchair by the door
"You said Cheryl was away at some boarding school?"
"Honestly, I'm not in the habit of explaining myself to school girls" She sassed
"Maybe not, Mrs. Blossom" Josie spoke "you have heard that my mother is dating Sheriff Keller. If you won't tell us the truth, then maybe you'll tell him"
"All right, then" She replied "The truth is that Cheryl started exhibiting strange, deviant behavior, so I've sent her abroad to private wellness institute where they're trying to help her" She pulled something from a book "You don't have to believe me. But her, let me show you something"
What Josie held was a drawn picture of Cheryl and Josie, "I don't understand"
"But Josie does, don't you?" Penelope taunted "Cheryl was obsessed with you. To the point where I was afraid she might hurt you, or herself, or both. So if you'd like me to tell that to your mother and her boyfriend, and show them and the town, Cheryl's drawings of you, I'd be happy to. But hopefully, you girls have the decency to keep this matter private"
"If what Mrs. Blossom said is even a tiny bit true, that means that Cheryl threatened me" Josie explained as we walked out of the house "Sent me a bloody pig's heart. I'm out, you guys. I'm done!"
"Are you really gonna listen to her?!" I groaned as the former pussycat marched away in a huff

"According to my intel, the tunnel that leads from the main residence comes out here" Kevin stated once Toni and Veronica made it
"Okay, that our way in, then" Veronica spoke as I opened the door with Toni's crowbar "All right, Kevin, you stay here. If we're not back in 15 minutes, call your dad"
"And when we get to the main building, what happens then?"
"We search each and every damn room until we find her" Toni answers
"We'll find her, okay?" I reassured before we split up

I could hear Toni's voice call out for Cheryl only for her to stop causing me to go check on her. When I finally found her, I noticed her making out with Cheryl.
"Cheryl, Toni, there are a bunch of nuns coming" Veronica interrupted as I took a quick pic to send to Toni later "We have to go, come on!"
Thankfully, we made out just before the nuns got to us. After shoving the crowbar into the handle we made another run for it.
