I'll Never Let Go

    Barry shivered in the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean. He could feel the water on his eyelashes slowly freeze. The only thing that was keeping him from being completely submerged in water was a wooden door. The door in which his one true love, Aaron Burr, was lying, barely conscious. Burr's eyelashes fluttered opened and he gazed down at Barry. If there were any blood left in his face, it surely would've gone to his cheeks, reddening them.
    "I-It's so cuh-cold, Barry" Aaron whispered. He couldn't muster enough energy of breath to say anything else. Barry stayed silent for a minute, before replying with,
    "I-I don't know about you, bu-but I intend o-on writing a strongly wo-worded letter to the e-establishment about thi-this...". Burr didn't reply right away. Then he realized it. And he wanted Barry to know before it was too late.
    "I do like Jazz, Barry." The small bee looked up, making direct eye contact. He knew what this meant. Burr was saying goodbye.
    "Don't you start that, Aaron. Don't start with the goodbyes. Listen, Burr. You're going to get out of here. You're going to get out and make lots of babies, and watch them grow. You're gonna die and old, old lady, warm in her bed. Not here, not this night. Not like this, do you understand me?" Barry looked Burr in the eyes. He had never been more serious in his life.
    "I-I can't feel my body" Burr whispered.
    "Winning that ticket, Burr, was the best thing that ever happened to me. It brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Burr. I'm thankful. You must do me this honor, Burr. Promise me that you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Burr. And never let go of that promise."
    There was a moment of silence, neither of them knowing what to say next.
    "I will never let go, Barry" Burr said

    "I will never let go"

Oof I cried writing this because I just l o v e Titanic so much. It's pretty pathetic that I wrote all of this without looking up the Titanic script, I just know it by heart. Also reminder that this is a joke, I don't actually take this, or myself, seriously lol.
