CYAN

"He wouldn't notice a thing. I'm quite certain that he will believe whatever comes out of my mouth." I heard my mother say as I pretended to sleep. What are they talking about? Who are they talking about? Out of curiosity, I almost opened my eyes.

"One by one we'll get rid of the nuisance that is ruining my plan. Love, you agree with my wishes, right?" I heard her say to my father. It took a minute before he replied. "Of course. Anything for you."
As my mother caressed my head while sitting down on my bed, I wondered what is going on in her head when. What did she meant?

"The bastard half dog is not a problem anymore but I still haven't disposed of him." I heard my father said as if he was being forced to say that. I heard my mother laugh before saying, "I have an idea. Instead of disposing him, he can be the castle's guard dog."

At that moment I have a feeling like I knew who they were talking about but I have doubts. My mother is not bad. That's not likely to happen. "But what if Cyan notices?" I heard my father reply.

"He wouldn't. Like I said, he would believe anything." I heard my mother say before my father left the room, slamming the door shut. He seemed to be mad when he did that. My mother stopped touching my hair and I felt the her stand up from the bed and left the room.

I waited for a few seconds before opening my eyes and sitting up. I glanced at the room, dumbfounded.
My eyes scanned the door before landing on the window near my desk. The moon was full. A smile crept up on my face. Evan must be outside since it's full moon. He didn't come here and instead my mother and father came to get me to sleep.

I laid down on my bed and pull the covers over my head. I closed my eyes, trying to catch some sleep but it never came. I was up all night, not knowing why. Something was bothering me. The conversation of my mother and father a while ago. Something isn't right. I shook my head and said to myself, "No. That's impossible."

MARISSA

While lying on this dirty bed, I covered my unclothed body with the blanket. As soon as he started redressing, I scanned the room. I have to escape. I felt disgusted with myself. His laughter echoed throughout the room making me shiver.

I stayed still and pondered about my escape. I feel helpless as of now. I have limited options but I have to make the most of it. My eyes scanned throughout the room and saw him approaching the bed with a menacing grin. I want to tear of that stupid face.

"It seems like you haven't learned your lesson yet. But I'm getting there. I'll finally be able to break your fragile shell." I heard him say as he sat down on the bed while looking at me. "I promise that I'll be able to fulfill my goal. No matter what I'll have to do. I'll do it."
