I woke up in a dark room. I slowly sat up. My eyes adjusted to the darkness and I realized I was in bed. Dyaln was laid next to me above the covers. "Dylan.." I shook him. His eyes shot open. "Are you alright? How are you feeling?" He jumped up and turned the lamp on.

"What happened?" "You passed out." "Wha-" "You went running after Cody and then when I got outside he was picking you up off the floor." "Where is he?" "Don't you remember what happened?" "He's gone?" I felt tears build in my eyes. "I'm so sorry, I did everything I could." "He's gone." I repeated as tears streamed down my cheeks.

"No. He's not gone. I'm gong after him." "Delilah, it's late." "If he cares he won't be sleeping." I said and threw on some jeans. I tucked Cody's shirt into them and grabbed my phone. "What do I tell Dad?" "Tell him he lost me." "No. You're coming back." "That doesn't mean Dad hasn't lost me." I said and left the room.

I ran out the door and hurried down the street. I arrived at the beach. In the shadows there was a figure of a guy. Please be Cody. I begged and ran towards him. "Delilah? What are you doing? Are you alright?" Cody caught me as I fell into his arms. "I'm not leaving you. You can't go." I refused.

"How are you feeling?" He wiped away my tears and held my face in his hands. "I don't know." "You don't know?" "I don't know what to feel to be perfectly honest. Are we over?" I searched his eyes in desperate need of an answer.

"You want a hot chocolate?" He offered. "I want an answer." "All I've got to offer right now is enough money for a hot chocolate and a muffin." "I guess I'll have to accept then." I sighed. "Good girl." He kissed my forehead.

"What are we gonna do?" I asked. We were walking along the street with our hot chocolates. "What do you want to do?" "I don't wanna end this." Cody didn't speak. I looked up at him. "Cody?" I was scared of what he was thinking about. "I mean he's only here for two weeks and I'm going to spain and you're going on tour so he doesn't have to know. When we get back we can be together." I suggested.

He still didn't say a word. "Please say something?" "Do you want to get into more trouble, Delilah? Think about it. He'll know if we stay together. He probably knows you're with me now. It's not going to work and forcing it is going to get you more hurt." "So that's it?" I stopped walking.

"Delilah, I love you." He hugged me tightly. "You can't just go. That's not fair." "I don't know what I'm going to do. I need time to figure this out." "How much time?" "Let me walk you home." "And then what?" "And then you get some sleep." "So you're done?" "Give me time to think." "How long, Cody? Tell me how long you need." "I'll call you."

"That's not answering my question!" "Tomorrow. I'll call you tomorrow." He comfirmed. I nodded and held onto his hand. He walked us to the end of his drive. "I'll see you in the morning, yeah?" I awaited his answer. "In the morning." He comfirmed. I reached up to kiss his lips but he moved so I kissed his ckeek. "Bye." He smiled and watched me walk away.

When I got in I heard Drake talking to himself so I went into his room. He was playing with two of his teddies. "Whatcha doing up so late?" I sat next to his crib. "Why was Daddy shouting so much?" "When?" "At Coco." "Oh. Don't worry about that, matey." "Is Coco here?" He held onto the railings. "He's at home." He pouted and crossed his arms.

"You wanna come to bed with me?" I offered. He nodded and stood up while reaching towards me. I lifted him out. "Wait!" "What?" "Teddy." He reached down. I picked up the teddy Cody gave him and handed it to him.

"Lilah, what are you doing up?" Dad stopped me while I was going into my room. "I heard Drake." "I didn't hear him." "Well I'm sorry for your loss." I smiled sarcastically and went into my room. Dad followed me. I put Drake on the bed, he climbed off and started tucking his teddy into the bed.
