Years later and I am still swearing off love. That was sophomore year of highschool and now I am a senior in college. I might be in college but I still have no idea what I am going to do with my life.

"Maybe I can just be one of those cat ladies that live with their parents, forever."  I thought sitting at my desk in psychology. My thoughts were abruptly cut off by the dismissal bell. I shove my textbooks and laptop into my maroon colored backpack, while the teacher explains the homework. I zip up my bag and the teacher dismisses us.

I race out of that crowded, dark room and head for the front door. I wanted to hurry up and get to my dorm, so I could finish my piles of homework. It was a Friday and Friday is always when the parties I can't attend commence. I never can go because I either have too much homework or no one to go with. I am not really a party person because I like keeping to myself and I guess people do not like that. No one has ever invited me to there party either. This time, my roomate, Nadia invited me but only because her boyfriend wanted to go out with his friends. I mean I do not blame him, they go to parties together every weekend. Nadia and I are not really friends but we do not hate each other. She is just really communicative, while I on the other hand would rather stay away from all social activities. I was still excited for the party nonetheless.

I almost made it to the door when I saw someone that caught my eye. He was about six foot and had caramel colored hair. Which was styled up but fell to the side. His facial structure was absolutely perfect. I mean who has a jawline that defined?

I did not realize I had halted to a complete stop. I was just in awe of how incredible this boy looked. He was wearing a blue jean jacket with an army green shirt underneath. He had on a pair of black jeans ripped out in the knees with some grey and white vans. His eyes where hooded by his eyelids, so I couldn't see them. I think he could still see me staring. Before I could embarrass myself anymore, I push through the glass doors out into the fall breeze.

After I get home I plop down on my bed and try to get my homework done as fast as I could. A couple of hours later Nadia comes barging into my room. "Good thing I finished my homework a few minutes ago." I thought pausing the youtube video I was watching.

"Alright, we need to get you all prettied up," she said excitedly. "I think I have the perfect dress for you." She runs back out of the door and returns holding some navy colored fabric. "Here put this on." She threw the dress at me and quickly walked out of the room.

I swiftly stripped off my blue t-shirt and black skinny jeans. I slipped on the dress and I was surprised it fit me perfectly. I ran over to the mirror and was even more shocked. It was a fit and flare that made me look actually presentable. The dress was a quarter sleeve that went down to my mid-thigh. The front went all the way up to my collarbone, while the back was open in a v-shape all the way down to my lower back.

"Can I come in yet?" Nadia complained banging on the door.

"Yes." I laughed. She opened the door and I swear her jaw fell to the floor.

"Oh my gosh! Are you even Presley Gastin?" She walked over to the mirror that I was still standing in front of. She took one last glance at me then turned and looked at herself. "So, we have established that you look fabulous. How do I look?" Nadia spun in front of me.

"You look amazing," and she did. Her dress was black and hugged her curves nicely. It was short sleeved and went down to her mid-thigh. She was also wearing black open-toed high heels. She is definitely the little black dress type of girl. It is no wonder her boyfriend is so attractive. Just one look at her and you're wishing you could be her. Her dark brown hair was styled in big bouncy curls. She has heavy makeup on which brings out the brown flecks in her emerald green eyes. Nadia didn't have a single flaw in her appearance.
