Chapter 11

Nathan's POV

     Ahhh.. Morning already ? That's kinda fast. Felt like I slept for just a minute. Stretch Stretch..*crack* Now that's a beautiful sound of morning. Now that I'm up early in the morning , the bed feels softer. Don't do this to me, bed. Oh gosh I look hideous. My hair all curled up and tangled in all direction. A nice black patch under my big blue eyes from yesterday's fight. It's been two days and nobody , not one member of the family even noticed. That's a good thing because I don't need to explain. That's also a bad thing because it's also a sign for I don't care. Aaa damn! gotta pee...

      I released myself as I looked around the bathroom. It smelt really odd in a way. After washing both of my hands and private, I looked around.(I did flushed so shush.) I looked in the bathtub and saw blood stains on the white marbled tub. Did period came early for Maya? Gosh her PMS. I used to think that PMS stands for Prepare to Meet Satan. Her attitude is really busting my balls. I even created a mental note. Never I said Never go against a girl on her period even if you're her adorable younger brother. Just no. I walked towards the cabinet to grab my toothbrush. I had no idea why but I opened Maya's side of the cabinet , feeling so eager to find something. I did. Razor with a slight blood stain,brushed against the sides. It wasn't ovary killing itself , but Maya. I brushed my teeth and sneaked to Maya's bedroom for evidence. Mission Impossible rhythm went through my head. Always trust your brain to freak you out at a time like this. Maya's room is slightly larger than mine. She had a large space untouched and clean while mine is full of unwashed clothing and stuff i don't remember placing. Probably a family of rats are living under it who knows. Getting back, I silently walked towards her purple colored bed frame and saw her arms dangled on the edge of the bed like a rag doll's arms. I grabbed her left wrist and saw freshly made scars. A string of blood made repeatedly under each line. It was scary. I felt sad for her. I never told her but she's beautiful without these scars.Why hurt her beauty with ugly scars. Maya suddenly moved and turned towards the other side. My body froze. Gosh , Spies must've felt this way before but way worst. I walked out silently and closed the door as silent as I.can before going back to my room. My sister and I are messed up. Really messed up. I walked in my room and tore off my clothes. I saw an image of me on the mirror. Clear patches of bruises under my ribs and on my hips. It looked like war marks. Looks cool to me. I grazed my fingers lightly on my bruishes. I flinched. The pain is still throbbing. I covered myself with two towels and waddled to the bathroom.

     Walked my way to an abandoned building. I told Mrs Anderson that I had to go to the library for an art project. Now that I think about it, sounds ridiculous. I can't even draw a stickman for goodness sake.Oh!There they are. They must've waited long enough.

    " Ayy Nathan! You ready?," Shouted Eric. Eric Norton ,His bright orange hair is really noticeable in the winter. Standing on the right side, was the twins. Jake and Jon Marco. Both of them had thick black hair matched with brown colored eyes. Three of these guys had the looks that makes girls drool. I'm not close to making girls drool that's for sure.

     " Always am." I replied as I dashed towards the three of them.

     " It's 6 in morning. Good you're in time. They're all waiting on level 3. C'mon let's go." Eric said as he lead us upfront. Our breathing synced. All of us were clearly nervous. We walked up the stairs. A few more steps to reaching our destination. Each steps feels heavy. I wanted to turn back. I wanted to escape. I make my enemies understand that I am scary but I'm inside, I'm terrified. My hands starts to sweat. Everything becomes slow motion when we entered the classroom. Fists and kicks approached my body. Piercing pain penetrates my body. I saw Eric throwing kicks that he learned from karate class. Jake and Jon did those duo fight in the movies and I'm on the floor with blood drooling at the side of my mouth. I stood up for pride. We fought for 5 minutes non stop. Everyone was all on the floor with blood and bruises.

" Are we done yet?" I croaked.

" No.." One of the guy from the other group said.

" Shut up, Ethan. We're done. That's all for today. We'll meet again."

 

     This fight was a promise made by a friend of ours. He died from cancer two years ago. We promised We'd fight ,We'd bleed and We'd bruise. He wanted us to learn the meaning of friends through fighting. We were all befuddled when reading his letter. It doesn't make sense but we grant his promise until we see the reason why.

" C'mon let's go. I think Eden must've been truly entertained by now. Looking down on us. Are you happy ,Eden?!," Jake shouted and Jon nudge his shoulder. As if on que, the sound of thunder followed by the soothing sound of raindrops.

" Good Job Jake, Eden's mad at you." I said as a smile spread on my face. I started laughing as the others followed after. We all stood up and shook hands as if to signal truce. We all walked our seperate way home. Yes we walked through the rain. I entered the mansion with rain all over my body. Gosh it was freezing. As I looked up, I was greeted by a shocked face.

" Master Nathan, You said you went to library? Where did your bag disappeared to? " Said Mrs Anderson wrapping me with a cotton towel made in Italy.

" Oh gosh, I forgot to take it. I left it the library. I'll take it tomorrow. " I lied. I thanked her and marched to my room upstairs. I started to flashback memories back when Eden was on earth. He was an amazing guy. He was like Wikipedia. Ask him anything and he'll answer as best as he can. We never fought. Then it hit me. Eden wanted us to fight to strengthen our brotherhood. He didn't want us to think about him all the time. He wanted to enjoy and cherished our brothers. Oh Eden, You Wikipedia guy.

   Voila. I know it's short. I tried to edit and change the plot for Nathan to give you guys better. I know I haven't been updating. Blame homework with the combination of a lazy teenager.
