Chapter 9 – There is a lot I don’t know about you

Louis’ POV

“HE TRIED TO RAPE ME LOUIS!”  Katie screamed at me. “What the f**k was I meant to do?”

“F**k.” I muttered, dragging my fingers through my hair.

“That’s why Lou.” She whimpered. “You never phoned me back.” She ran out slamming the door after her. She was right. I told her that I would phone her back but I never did.

*Flashback*

“Louis?” She whispered down the phone. “It’s me. I really need to talk to you.” She sounded like she had been crying.

“Katie sweetie, I can’t right now.” I told her. “I’ll call you later, I promise.”

*End of Flashback*

I never called her back that day. Yeah I spoke to her on other days but she never told me what she so desperately needed to tell me. I thought that maybe she just didn’t care about it anymore so I left it at that, but now I can’t help but to feel guilty.

“Katie wait!” I yelled after her, beginning to run down the corridor, but was stopped by Harry and Liam.

“Let her go.” Harry told me. “She needs time to think. We’ll go get her in a bit.”

Katie’s POV

I ran. I can’t believe that I just told him that so I ran. Louis will flip out even more now but I don’t care. I just don’t care anymore. I ran until my body ached. I sat down on a bench in the middle of a deserted park and pulled my knees up to my chest. I ignored the numerous calls and texts that I got, undoubtedly from the boys telling me to go home. Well the truth is, home is in Doncaster. I have no idea how to get back to Louis’ flat.

I sat on the bench, playing with my leggings material and thinking deeply. I just zoned out, it felt like there was no on here. I was alone; no one cared about some kid on a bench. I was alone and that’s kinda how I liked it.

Me being the ‘luckiest’ person ever, was wishing that I did have the money to get home right now as the heavens opened up and rain drops poured from the sky like there was no tomorrow. I tucked a strand of already soaking wet hair behind my ear as I focused on the rain forming puddles on the pathway.

My phone rang for the millionth time and seeing that it was Zayn, I answered.

“Yeah?” I spoke into my iPhone quietly.

“Oh thank god you’re okay! You’ve been gone ages.” Zayn sighed a huge sigh of relief when he heard my voice. “You are okay aren’t you?” He checked.

“I don’t know.” I admitted, shrugging my shoulders even though I knew he couldn’t see.

“Katie where are you?” He asked me, desperation lingering in his voice.

“I can’t tell you.”

“Why?” Zayn pleaded with me.

“Because you’ll tell Louis and then Louis will make me go back to his and he’ll ask questions and I don’t want to talk about it.” I gabbled. “Also, if you don’t tell Louis then you’ll get me and I’ll still have to go back to Louis’ and he’ll still ask questions and then you’ll be asking questions all the way home and I don’t want to talk about it.” I could hear him chuckling slightly at my rather pointless and gabbled explanation.
