Chapter 17

Heey. I felt bad for making you wait quite so long so I have just finished this. It's 1:03am!!!!! I'm flipping tired so here it is.

Chapter 17 - Headache

Katie’s POV

*le morning*

I woke up pretty quickly before showering, washing and drying my hair and doing my normal make-up. Now came the challenge of deciding what to wear. I pulled on some grey skinny jeans, a white tee-shirt with a black and white ‘vouge’ print on it and some grey TOMS. My hair was left loose and thankfully, I had remembered to put my contacts in.

“Wow, you’re looking colourful.” Lou remarked sarcastically as I walked into the kitchen. I shrugged my shoulders and pulled a smoothie from the fridge and started guzzling it down. I suddenly got a sharp pain in my head. Like a headache, but a million times worse. I squeezed my eyes shut and winced in pain. Katie? Is everything okay?” Louis asked me, furrowing his eyebrows and looking at me worriedly.

“Yeah. Just a headache.” I said, plastering on a fake smile.

“There’s some paracetamol in the bathroom cupboard.” He said kindly. I nodded and went to get some, swallowing two tablets with some water.

My phone buzzed in my pocket, I pulled it out and read the message.

From: Marina <3

Waiting outside chick xxx

I smiled before typing out a reply.

To: Marina <3

Come on up, I’m hungry and I need to eat. Number 2 if you can’t remember xxx

I poured myself some cereal and drowned the lot of it in milk before shovelling the milk-sodden flakes into my mouth. The doorbell rang and I knew it would be Marina. Louis sighed, I was eating and Harry was still asleep so he was going to have to answer it.

“Can you let Marina in please?” I asking, holding my hand over my mouth as I spoke because it was full of food. It sounded muffled but Louis got the message.

“Morning chick.” She smiled, following Louis into the kitchen.

“Mornin’” I returned the smile dumping my bowl in the sink. “Right, let me just brush my teeth and get my stuff and then we’ll go.” I said, waving Rina to follow me.

“Leave me to wash up why don’t you?!” Louis yelled behind us.

“They invented dishwashers for that Lou!” I yelled back, earning a laugh from Harry who had just woken up. Thank the lord he had clothes on when he bumped into us.

“Morning Katie and friend.” Harry greeted us.

“Marina.” Marina introduced herself.

“Morning Katie and Marina.” He corrected himself. “You managed to make breakfast yourself then Katie?” He joked, referring to yesterday.

“Oh yeah.” I chuckled. “It was tough, but I think the kitchen will be okay. And Louis only lost half an arm so all’s well.” I continued the joke sarcastically, but Harry did look a little worriedly at me. “Joke Haz.” I smiled softly before going to brush teeth.

I grabbed my bag before leading Marina out of the flat.

“Bye guys.” I yelled before closing the door.

Louis’ POV

 I can’t help but think about Katie. I mean, she said it was just a headache, and maybe it was but I can’t help think that it was something more. The look of pain on her face looked agonising.

“Lou? You okay?” Harry asked.

“Yeah, just worried about Katie.” I sighed. That was pretty normal. To be worried about Katie.

“Oh, what’s she does this time?”

“Well, she had a headache a-

“Louis. It’s a headache. I’m sure she’ll be fine.” Harry interrupted me.

“Yeah I guess.”

Katie’s POV

*back from shopping*

Well, all in all that was a good trip. I got 2 jumpers, 3 pairs of jeans, 2 t-shirts, some jewellery and a date. Yes, a date! We literally walked into Ethan and he asked me out to dinner tonight.

I dumped my bags in my room before going into the lounge to find the boys.

“Hey Katie.” Lou smiled. “Good trip?”

“Yep. Jumpers, jeans, t-shirts, jewellery and a date.” I grinned.

“Get in little Tommo!” Harry high-fived me but Louis didn’t look that impressed.

“With who?”

“Ethan. Luke introduced us the other night.” Louis started rambling on about something but I’m not sure what it was. I had another of those weird killer headaches and everything was going blurry, like I wasn’t wearing glasses or contacts. Their voices were getting fainter and the pain was getting worse. And then it went black. 

:O Poor Katie. Okay, cliff hanger much?! I'll update on Friday but then I'm away for the week so no updates, but I promise I will update before I go.
