"blair are you gunna let them in?" alex asks while laughing. i feel my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"oh yeah right, come in," i say while moving out of the way so they can come in.as daniel walks in he hands me the starbucks cup, giving me a quick wink and walks to the living room. jonah sets the pizza down on the table along with everything else as i shut the door behind corbyn. we all sit down the the living room, me and the girls on the couch, jack, zach and jonah on the love seat, and corbyn in the chair with daniel on the floor in front of him. all of us just so here starting at one another not really knowing what to do since we barely know anything about each other.

"i have a suggestion," jack starts as he sits up more in the seat, all our eyes dart to him. "since i can sense all of us are hungry how about we eat pizza while watching a movie and then we can figure out what to do after." we all nod our heads in agreement as alex grabs the remote to find a movie. we all agreed on watching fast and furious 8. i've already seen this movie but it's one of my favorites so i was down to watch it again.

"i'll go grab the plates and stuff," i tell everyone as i get up from my spot.

"i'll help you," daniel says, following behind me to the kitchen. i walk over to the cabinet that have the paper plates in them, going on my tippy toes to get them from the shelf. i hear daniel chuckle from behind me.

"you know what daniel, i don't need this bullying in my life," i turn to him pretending to be mad at him. he puts his hands up in defense as he walks over to me. he reaches up and grabs the stack of plates without a problem.

"meanie," i mumble loud enough for just him to hear. he looks back at me as he walks into the other room with me trailing behind him. once the plates are set down everyone grabs two pieces of pizza and places them on a plate while grabbing a cup of soda.

"is everyone ready to start this shit," alex asks as she presses play, not caring for anyone's response. we get through the movie with a few shouts and talking to the tv.

"i'm glad dom cleaned up his act in the end and went back to his team cause if he didn't i would've beat his ass," bella exclaims as she shuts the tv off.

"you right," i say to her while nodding my head.

"so what do we do now?" zachs asks.

"y'all lets fuckin play 21 questions or something since we don't know jack about each other," alex says getting excited. everyone agrees and we all move the table out if the way and sit in a big circle on the floor. daniel has his watermelon in hand as eva got up to plug her phone into the speaker, playing a random playlist softly in the background.

"so ladies and uh guys, i'm gunna ask a bunch of questions and we'll all answer them cause yeah," alex says as she looks up questions on her phone.

"ok first question, who's a virgin?" she asks as she looks up from her phone. she see all our 'really?' faces and puts her hands up in surrender. "i was just kidding gosh," she backs herself up. "what's everyone's favorite color?" a bunch of answers get said all at once.

"yeah guys this isn't working out we have no coordination what so ever," i say, earning nods from everyone. "we're all the most awkward people i've ever met," i blurt out, earning more nods. i pull out my phone, 9:08 it read. we had three hours to kill till it was midnight, i could tell this was gunna be rough.

"how come we're all so out going on text but so blah while we're in the same room?" jack asks no one in particular.

"uh jack not all of us have even been in a group chat together," i say with a slight laugh. the curly haired boy gives me a look of thought and then soon realizes i'm right.

"well dang, that sucks," he says looks down at the floor. i decided to get up and go over to eva's phone that was still hooked up to the speaker. i look back at everyone with a smile as i hit the song that i know will get everyone dancing. i turn up the volume as bodak yellow blasts through the speakers. all the girls get off the couch and start screaming the lyrics with me as the boys sit and watch. after a long of just dancing around and talking about life we realize it almost midnight. before we shut to the music off to watch the ball drop, perfect by ed sheeran starts to play. i feel a tap on my shoulder, causing me to turn around. i come face to face with daniel. i let out a laugh as he sticks his hand out towards me.

"may i have this dance, my lady," he asks with a cheeky smile.

"why of course me seavey," i tell him as i grab his hand. he wraps his arms around my waist as i wrap mine around his neck. i rest my head on his chest as he softly hums the song, i close my eyes taking in the moment. which comes to an end as the song ends but daniel doesn't let go so i don't either.

"3, 2, 1! happy new year!" i hear everyone around us say.

"happy new year baby," he says in almost a whisper. i laugh, realizing that out of context my nickname doesn't sound like an inside joke.

"happy new year mystery man," i say back to him, while smiling into his chest. i feel him place a soft kiss on the top of my head as he lets go. we go to celebrate with the others. all nine of us, just hanging out and having a good, awkward time with each other. i smile softly to myself realizing how lucky i am to have met these kids.

i've been doing hella good with updates lately but i changed the 'pairings' lmao whatever you call them cause they aren't all couples yet. but i got some blaniel action in there?? that name is ugly but it's fine we can figure something better out. i apologize for how awkward this chapter is cause i deadass didn't know what to do but it works out in the end and won't be ask awkward in the future but i hope you enjoyed this chapter, much love <33
