(she's kind of a long one so buckle up ladies and gents)

i pull myself together and run to the bathroom to take a shower so i don't smell like death later. i take a shower for about a half an hour just singing and doing what i do in the shower. i shut off the water and ring out my hair before i step out of the tub to dry off. i wrap my hair in a towel and then wrap one around my body while humming to the melody of cartier by bazzi.

i grab my phone and walk to my room, taking a seat at my vanity and take my hair out of the towel, putting in a headband to keep my hair out of my face while i put on makeup. i decided i'd keep it more on the natural side and apply a light layer of foundation, concealer on the highlights of my face, fill in my eyebrows, contour, highlight, put a little bit of the contour shade i use on my lid and blend it into my crease, and some mascara and chapstick. once i'm pleased with the way my face looks i walk over to my closet and try to decide what to wear considering i don't know what type of restaurant we're going to. it wouldn't hurt to ask him, would it?

i smile down at my phone before turning it off and throwing it on the bed so i can look for a nice dress to wear. as i'm looking i realize that i have no idea what color daniel's wearing. not that matching was my main concern, i didn't want to look like a complete idiot who didn't know how to coordinate. daniel could show up in a button up that had roses all over it or something crazy. i don't want to to text him again but i also don't want to have a hundred outfit changes because i'm scared it won't go with what he's wearing. fuck it, is going to text him and this is going to be the last time today.
