The sounds of pop music filled my car as Connor and I drove down the road. He wanted to drive my car, Sophie, so I agreed to let him just this one time. Sophie IS MY BABY. I looked ahead to see a flock of vultures ruthlessly feeding on some kind of dead animal. The birds started to fly as we approached, and Connor recognized they were going to hit the car. He overcorrected, and I realized that MY Sophie was airborne, flying straight over a cliff. Connor and I were both screaming as the car tumbled down the rocky hill side. He reached over and threw his arm across my stomach and it hurt like fire. I covered my face for impact.
This has to be a nightmare...a very sick nightmare.
I then realized that this was not a dream, and I could feel myself giving in to the horror. Bangs, booms, and the twisting of metal filled my ears.
That’s when everything went black.
