Dull vacant eyes
Wishing for the one little spark,
Like fireworks bursting in the air
Lighting up the single moment.Dancing colors flashing across my face
For a split second I come back to life
Eyes wide as color reels me in.
No amount of words or actions
Can describe the tranquility.Yet as soon as it came,
It flew away.
Like lighting zapping the ground,
Never to hit the same area again.
Leaving only the imprints on the soil
And my soul aches for those fireworks.
