I was never religious
Always keeping something back.I pray to the Father
Closing my eyes
Releasing all my hope
Every night without fail
I pray to Him.Yet there are times
Where I can easily say
I curse at his name
I speak down upon him.
I go to mass
Rolling eyes as I sit, listening
To all the same words
Never a change.I was never religious,
Always something holding back
I cant let myself fall
Into the depths called religion.
I can only go so far
As to dip my legs into
The pool known as Catholicism.
Submerging myself is
Something I can never imagine.
