Chapter 9 (Floors 25 - 27)

Floor 25

This floor is like your typical dungeon. Stone wall and concrete flooring. In short, it is similar to the introductory floor.

The old man from the introductory floor came and said, "Greetings, young lady and knight! I see that you have new companions with you. Anyway, I must congratulate you all because you people are the first to reach half of the game!"

The six then gave each other a high-five.

"You must be tired, yes? There is are beds over there that will restore your health and mana. Oh, I will also restock your potions and give you upgraded weapons."

They each received their weapon. Elianna got a staff that enhanced elemental damage. Lucas got a sword that has increased damage. Kenji got a bow that increases critical hit ratio. Camille got a staff, but it was weaker than their family heirloom staff, so she did not use it. Enzo got a scythe with increased damage, as well. Lastly, Rosary got a minigun (with roses, obviously.) that also increases damage.

"One last thing before you go. I must introduce things you will find further in the dungeon. There are legendary weapons, special skills, and dual special skills."

"Oh! Please, tell us more!" Elianna said.

"Alright. As you all know, legendary weapons are the most powerful weapons in the game and can only be unlocked if you pass a certain trial or do a selfless act.

Special skills are the most powerful skills in the game, but they are costly in mana. It also has an incantation, though, so it will take time to activate. They are given at the same time as the legendary weapon.

Dual special skills are special skills that are used by two people. It is also costly in mana and can be unlocked if your bond with someone is close enough. Though, you cannot have a dual special skill with everyone in your party.

(A/N: A dual special skill doesn't necessarily mean being lovers. It can be unlocked for best friends that are close enough.)

That is all I have to say." The old man opened the portal and vanished the way he did in the introductory floor.

"We did it, we're half way there!" Lucas congratulated everyone.

"Are you guys programmed within the game? Or trapped in the game, like us?" Elianna asked.

"I'm trapped, meep." Kenji said.

"Same here." Rosary said, too.

"Me as well." says Camille.

"Of course, I'm also stuck!" Enzo said.

"Cool! Hey, if all of us were to get out of this game alive, let's exchange phone numbers! Not now, though; because we might forget. Do it after we beat the final boss and save the princess. Sound good?" Elianna asked.

"Alright!" everyone else replied.

Then they advanced to the next floor.

Floor 26

This floor is soft, delicate, and delicious. You are on a waffle floor.

"This is like the gingerbread floor all over again!" Elianna said. "There's even maple syrup flowing!" she pointed to the flowing maple syrup on the wall.

"You and your addictions to sweets, meep..." Kenji said.

"Says the person who's addicted to the word 'meep'."
