Dancetale: Fathers Return

"And that is it for my new set today viewers, thank you for watching as always and have a good night! Oh and as a final say to my parents.. this last song is for you." I started my dance only for it to stop half way through and the sound of the lights cutting off. Stopping my dance I felt hands snake around my waist and something get placed on my face.

The next second the lights flickered on and I could make out shapes on different colors. Make out where walls were. The figure behind me let go and walked beside me, takin my hand in theirs. I was confused as to what was happening when the next set started up. The vibrant blue aura jumped in a few minutes into the song and started dancing with the group.

I stood in complete shock, watching the whole thing unfold. My hands ran up to cover my mouth. When the song was almost done, they walked up to me and got down on a knee. Pulling something out of their pocket. When it registered what was happening I could only manage a small nod. I could hear the sigh of relief coming from them, they pulled the thing off of my face and pulled me in to an embrace.

I would know these skeletal arms anywhere. Sans, what he did was completely insane and I couldn't believe he was doing this. I felt his teeth on my forehead, my arms pinned against his chest. "Sans, you're such a bone head." I gave a small chuckle as my words were muffled into his jacket.

He chuckled as well. "I may be a bone head, but you said yes." He wasn't wrong, he had proposed to me on Live TV for the first set of the new show. I couldn't believe I didn't even know he was planning this. I had learned the whole new set with everyone only for this to happen. Now I wasn't going to complain, Sans always made me happy. I just never expected this to happen. 

The sounds of the studio shutting off and our friends running over made him release me from his grasp. "SANS, HUMAN, I THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM EXCITED TO SEE THAT YOU SAID YES! I AM HAPPY FOR YOU!" Paps picked us up and wrapped us in his arms as he hugged us. I couldn't help but laugh.

Something that I had never expected to happen, it had never occurred to me that this could happen. "Sister, I can't believe it. Not only that but I was aloud to help. Thank you so much Sans for letting me in on this." My sisters arms wrapped around the three of us as well. Everyone seemed happy for us.

We talked about it a lot on the way home. Even Asgore and Tori were present in the dance as well. Sans had gone all out when he planned this. Making sure that I was none the wiser as to his plans. It was an amazing feeling that I hoped would last forever, that we could stay like this forever. Yet, as everyone knows, it's not always that easy.
