April
"I don't like being carried." I whinned as Justin carried my bridal style through the woods. "And it's not really helping my legs. It's going numb."
Justin looked down at me, his hazel eyes glowing with worry. "April, you can't walk on it. Thankfully it's stopped bleeding, but I'm taking you to the hospital."
"What!?" I asked, my voice echoing through the trees. "Are you trying to get yourself turned in? Your already wanted for kiddnapping! Now murder!"
Justin rolled his eyes. "They don't know I killed him. For all they know, big wolves did." I heard a chuckle behind us, and I jumped, wrapping my arms tightly around Justin's neck. I hadn't noticed his dad standing behind us.
"Sorry." he apologized when he saw me jump. "Didn't mean to scare you." I gave him a small smile, and he walked infront of Justin and me. "There's a hospital a few miles from this spot. Justin, I want you, in your wolf form, to take April there. Now, I don't want you to go human, and take her in. She'll have to do that herself"-I smiled at the thought of finally walking on my own-"Justin, you will stay in your wolf form, and stay hidden in the woods until April gets out. You will be on the look-out for anyone who might know April to come in."
"If that is to happen," he continued. "You are to howl. I'll hear it, and we will deal with the situation from there. April,"- he looked at me, seriousness clear in his eyes. "I want you to, when you get to the hospital, untie the shirt, give it to Justin. Try and fall on the ground, and scream. Someone will come over, and help you. They ask for a name, you say your name is Michelle Lambert, got it?" I nod my head.
"Wait, what if someone recognizes me." I ask suddenly.
"Thats why Justin's there." Justin's dad said. "Which is why I told Justin to be on the-"
"Sorry!" I said, cutting him off. "I didn't think before speaking."
"Funny." Justin's dad says. "Justin has that same problem." Justin shoots his dad a playful glare. "Now get going. I'm hoping you guys are back before it's dark out, so we can find somewhere to sleep."
Justin sets me on the ground gently, and walks away into the tree's to 'go wolf' as I call it. When he gets back, he drops his clothes from his mouth into my lap. I grip them with my hands, and Justin's dad helps me sit on Justin's back, like Justin was some massive, hairy horse.
"Hurry!" Justin's dad orders. "April, wrap your arms around Justin's neck, and your legs around Justin's stomach." I nod my head, and slowly but painfully wrap my arms gently around Justin's abdomen, and snake my arms around his neck. He lets out a low moan, and I roll my eyes.
I'm riding on the back of a horny werewolf. Great.
Without another word, Justin's running through the trees. I burry my face in the back of Justin's neck, the fast moving area making my head hurt as worse as my leg.
When the wind from Justin's running died down completely, I looked up. Justin turned his head slightly, and nodded over to a small opening in the trees. He walked me over, and through the opening, I saw a small hospital.
Vancouver West Clinic was what the sign read. We were in the other side of Canada? How? I live in Los Angeles, and we've only been moving for about two days.
This is nuts!
Justin lets out a small whine, and I know it's my cue to go into the hospital. I slowly slide off Justin's back, landing on my good leg. He took his clothes from my hand, and looked at me, sadness clear in his now golden eyes.
"I'll be right back." I said to him while scratching behind his ear. "Just make sure no one who looks familiar catches me, okay?" He nods his huge head up and down, and helps me to my feet.
