||The Next Day||

|Justin|

I wake up, and see April curled up tight into a ball, her head resting on my chest. I gently wrap my arms around her body, and kiss the top of her head. She makes a small noise, and I freeze. She moves her head, but doesn't wake up.

I let out a small breath of relief, and look up at the sky. The sun has yet to come out, so the sky was still dark. I could tell by the way it looks, the time had to be around four or five in the morning. My stomach makes a noise, and I frown, realizing how hungry I am.

"I'll go get something to eat." Dad says, popping his head in my view suddenly. I jump, and he chuckles. "Scared ya?"

"Duh!" I whisper-yell.

"I'll be right back." he says. "You two keep it PG, got it?"

"Dad..." I whine, feeling abit embarrassed that he has to warn me about that. He disappears behind the bushes, and I sigh.

"Where'd your dad go?" April asks as she lifts her head up, her eyes squinting at me. She sit up, and begins to try and pat down her bed-head. I chuckle, and sit up as well.

"He went to go get some food." I say. April nods, and groans.

"Any chance that he can bring back some shampoo, soap, and a shower?" She runs her fingers through the tangles in her hair, and frowns. "This is gross."

"I think you look beautiful." I say, smiling. She looks at me, trying to look pissed, but fails by smiling.

"Shut up." she says. "But I'm being for real, I need a shower. I smell, and look like shit."

"April-"

"Don't disagree!" she yells, pointing a finger at me. "Your gorgeous all the time, whether you've just taken a shower, or you haven't in a week. Girls are a different story. We need showers."

I chuckle, and stand to my feet. "Come along." I hold my hand out towards her, and she shoots me a confused look.

"Where to?" she asks, taking my hand. I pull her up to her feet, and smile.

"A shower."

"This is not what I ment by a shower." April says when we arrive at the stream I found one day while searching for food. "Girl's also need privacy."

I roll my eyes. "Babe, no ones around to see you." April looks at me, and crosses her arms. "I won't be looking, I swear."

She shakes her head, and looks down at the water. "It's either you take a bath in the water here, or you stick with your nasty-self now."

"That was mean." she says, looking at me, frowning. "But don't look at me." I throw my hands up, and back away.

"You have my word."

I back up behind the tree's, and turn my back to her. Crossing my arms across my chest, I sigh. In all honesty, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep my word. I just had to take a small peak at April...one so quick, she wouldn't even see me look at her.

No Justin! I yell in my head. You shouldn't do that to her. It's wrong! Of course, however, my hormones speak over that voice in my head, and I slowly turn my head to look behind me just as April is taking off her bandages on her wounds. She had her pants and shirt off, and I could feel my heart pounding in my head.

God, she looked sexy.

Turn around Justin before your caught!

That phrase begins to run through my mind just as April begins to unclasp her bra. Her back is to me, so alls I see is a bare back, but my eyes begin to widen as she gently grips the top of her panties with her fingers.

TURN AROUND!

"Justin?" A voice says behind me, and I jump, making sure my body is covering April. I turn to look at, who I assumed was Dad, but turns out to be someone completely different.

Someone I haven't spoken to in years...

"Ryan?"

|April|

I quickly jump into the deepest section of the stream, making sure my entire body from the neck down was covered by water, and was unseen.

The ice cold water brough goosebumps to my arms, and I quickly wrap them around my shaking body. Part of me wishes that Justin would come in, but then I realized I was butt-naked, so I didn't want Justin in the water with me.

Then again...

Shaking that thought out of my mind, I dunk my head under the ice-cold water, and quickly bring it back to surface, almost screaming from how cold it was. I look over my shoulder, and notice Justin's back was still to me.

So he can keep his word? I think. A stinging pain erupts on my thy, and I un-wrap my arms to examine my gun-shot wound. It looks so much better than it did before I went to the hospital, but knowing it's unhealthy to keep on the same bandage for so long, I realized I wantd to tell Justin's dad for some more medical things for my leg.

My hand was fine from when I slapped Justin. The doctors examined that, and it was only a really bad sprain, and it healed perfectly fine. Ocassionally I would twist it a certain way, and I'd get the familiar pain of the sprain I got, but it works well.

After a good twenty minutes of sitting in the cold stream, I decide to get out. Realizing I had no towel, or clothes to dry myself off with, I groan. I would need Justin to come out here and hand me the shirt off his back, or get him to run off somewhere to get me something.

"Justin?" I whisper, not wanting to bring attention to myself. "Can you come here?" I knew he could hear me, but I didn't hear him coming over.

Infact, he wasn't even in the same spot as where I assumed he was standing.

"Justin?" I call alittle louder. "Where are you?"

I hear rustling coming behind me, and I duck behind a huge rock laying on the bed of the stream. Justin's dad comes out of the bushes, a look of worry clear on his face.

"April?" he calls. I pop my head out, making sure my naked body was completely covered and un-seen. "Where's Justin?"

I shrug. "He was supposed to be standing over there, but I've been calling him and he's not answering."

Justin's dad groans, and leaps over the stream, and ducks into the bushes and tree's where Justin was supposed to be.

He comes out, holding Justin's dirt-stained white V-neck.

"Justin's gone."
