C H A P T E R  17 | DEATH OF ME

"Dad he's just here so we can take care of Greyson." I rolled my eyes. Haze just had to make a horrible impression on my father didn't he? My dad stands there glaring at Haze who looks over at me with a nervous expression.

"Fine." He finally says. "You guys can use the living room." He adds grabbing his phone from the couch.

I had no intentions on doing any funny business with Haze. Especially considering I was fake dating his friend, still. Speaking of Jaime he's been a lot better now and is back at school which leaves us only a few days until the week is over and we have to complete the crying baby test.

"Do you think Jaime gets jealous because I have a child with his girlfriend?" Haze chuckled dropping himself on the couch.

I shook my head. "It's and assignment."

"Your calling Greyson and assignment?" He gasps. "Let me see him."

"Hey!" I said when he quickly takes him from my arms.

"He likes me more."

"That's not fair you actually have things in common." I tell him.

"Like what? Big-"

"I'm going to stop you right there, he's a baby!" I groaned at his gross innuendo.

"Don't be a prude cupcake it's only true." He winks.

I'm really hoping my dads not listening and won't barge in with a gun or anything.

"I'm not a prude." I argued.

"I'm pretty sure you love sex as much as the next guy."

Silence. Pure silence.

"Wait." He begins. "Are you a-"

I quickly cover his mouth with my hands before he can scream that last word out for my father to hear. "Eww." I said feeling him lick the palm of my hand.

"You and Jaime still haven't done the deed?" He starts laughing. "That's low even for Jaime."

"Sorry not everyone's a sex addict around here."

"I'm not a sex addict I just enjoy the company." It was like he almost regretted saying it. Haze felt that alone he used random girls to occupy him in his time of loneliness.

Now that was sad.

"Have you ever even kissed the guy?" He asks.

"Of course." I lied.

"Your lying."

Dammit.

"We've had occasional cheek kisses."
