Enoch woke after about 2 hours sleep and decided he might as well stay awake as it wasn't too long until Hugh normally woke up. At least he might have some company. The image of Olive from last night replayed in his mind. She looked so fragile and scared and it hurt him so badly inside to see the girl he loved so upset. There was only one thing to do - get revenge.

Noah was going to have it in for himself when Enoch saw him later. Enoch was going to wipe that smug smile off Noah's face first of all and then maybe make a few alterations to his face in general. He was really going to regret kissing Olive and saying those things about Enoch and the others. Enoch could barley contain his anger but he had to hide it because Olive didn't want people to know what had happened and he didn't want to make a scene.

"How do you feel?" Enoch asked, genuine concern in his voice.
Olive shrugged and said she felt worse because she had never been kissed before. Her first kiss was wasted on someone she hated.
"Don't say that. It doesn't count unless you enjoy it. There's still some lucky boy out there waiting for you. Don't you worry," Enoch comforted.

Olive smiled and wished she could tell Enoch how she felt. He was the boy she loved and yet he was oblivious. They went back inside and decided to help Miss Peregrine prepare lunch. They needed some carrots from Fiona's vegetable garden but Olive didn't want to go, as it reminded her of yesterday, so Enoch went while she prepared the rest of the food.

As Enoch left the kitchen, he saw Noah coming in from the garden. Now was his chance, there was no-one around and if he wanted to get revenge, now was his time to do it. He waited on the stairs until Noah turned the corner and grabbed his collar, pushing him against the wall.

"I know what happened with you and Olive yesterday."
Despite his vulnerable position, Noah still smiled his unnerving smile and laughed cockily.
"Your little girlfriend told you then. She's pathetic and so are you. You obviously like each other but since you're too weak to say anything, she's mine," Noah taunted.

Enoch slammed Noah's head into the wall and gripped the boy by his shoulders.
Noah wasn't even struggling - he enjoyed making Enoch so angry.

"Don't you dare talk about Olive like that, you little-"
"Enoch!" Olive's worried voice came from behind him. He had been distracted with Noah and hadn't noticed Olive run up to see what the noise was.

"Did you miss me, darling?" Noah slurred from where he was dizzy.
Olive had had enough, so walked straight up to Noah and punched him in the nose. Enoch let go of his shoulders and the boy slunk to the floor.

Miss Peregrine walked in to see an unconscious Noah, a gaping Enoch and Olive had blood on her right hand.
"Does somebody want to explain what's going on?"
