We all agreed on playing twenty one questions to get to know each other.
"Who's starting?" I asked. "You, duh" I playfully rolled my eyes. "Okay then, we're gonna take turns on asking you the questions, so I guess this will turn into 22 questions so it's even" Blake said, Zack nodded.
"I CALL SHOTGUN! What's your favorite type of flower?" Zack asked me. "I like roses, I've liked them since I was little" I replied, he nodded. "Noted"
Okay enough of the bs, my turn" Blake said, I couldn't bare but to laugh. "What's your favorite color?" "Heh, and I ask the bs.." Zack murmured, I tried to hold in my laugh, but as always, I failed.
"Hahaha, go die in a hole you assclown" okay, I'm wheezing. "Anyway, your favorite color?" "I'll say teal, it's a pretty cute color" I shrugged.
And that's how it went for the rest of the day, they asked me questions and I asked them questions, I had so much fun with them, that I totally forgot about all of my worries.
The only question that was in my head was, where were these two my whole life? I barely met them, but I already feel so close to them, the second I met them I just knew we would have a great bond.
And no, I'm not saying I'm not grateful for Shawn and the twins, of course I am, I just feel like they're always trying to protect me, all I need is a free bond with someone, I do have great times with them and I wouldn't change them for anything, it is nice to be careless though.
The snowstorm is still going strong, Zack and Blake insisted on me staying the night at the cafe, since it is pretty dangerous for me to go out at this hour and the weather conditions aren't the best at the moment.
I checked my phone in case I had any missed calls, but I then realized there was no signal, I don't know how I survived so many hours without wifi, I guess I truly was having fun.
Blake grabbed a few sleeping bags and blankets from a white closet in the employee area. "How do you guys have all these things in here?" I asked. "Well, this isn't the first snowstorm that has caught us while we're at work, we do live in Canada after all" Zack said, I nodded my head in agreement.
We were placing down the sleeping bags, pillows and blankets, when I got an idea. "What if we make a fort?" I suggested, they both looked at each other and immediately started building.
A few minutes later, the living room area was now a pillow/blanket fort, It was just the perfect size, tall enough for the three of us to be comfortable, and wide enough for us to fit in, it was perfect.
"WE ARE GOALS" Blake claimed clasping her hands together. "Okay, I'm tired let's just sleep... I CALL THE CORNER!" I exclaimed while running in the fort.
"I ALSO CLAIM A CORNER" Blake said following me. "Why do I have to get the middle?" The middle is honestly the most uncomfortable place to be in, wether is in a car seat, or bed spot, it's pretty rare that someone enjoys being in the middle.
I laid on top of my sleeping bag since I actually find being in them claustrophobic, I snuggled up to the remaining blankets I had next to me and hid my face in one of the pillows.
"Goodnight" was the last thing I heard before falling asleep.
The next morning
I felt a strong grip shake my arm, I groaned. "Shawn?" "Ha, you wish, the storm calmed down a bit, it is still snowy outside though, Blake and I think we should get out of here before we get stuck again" I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms, I really don't want to get up, but I also don't want to keep these two here.
"Okay, I'm up" I say while I put my hair up in a pony tail. I grabbed my backpack and helped my friends put everything away.
Once we were done, we headed to the door, as Blake was locking the doors, I had a small talk with Zack.
"Let's get out of here" she said while putting her keys in her bag. It was extremely cold outside, I don't know up these two are able to walk so normally.
"Where are you guys heading to?" I asked. "Well, we're planning on going to our apartment, Zack didn't want to g back though, he thinks we really do need the money, but I told him he needs to rest" "what do you mean with we really do need the money?" I asked concerned, do they have a financial issue?
"Well, Zack and I are basically orphans, our parents left us in the streets when we were kids, we escaped a few years ago, we rent an apartment down the street, it's kinda hard to keep up with the bills, that's why Zack and I stay over at the cafe most of the time, even though we clearly shouldn't" these kids know what it's like to not have a motherly and fatherly figure growing up, I didn't think someone felt the same way.
"That's horrible, I'm sorry, you guys should leave that apartment and come live in my place, there's plenty of rooms there, it's a condo, but it's the biggest condo you'll ever see" they looked at each other and hesitated.
"Thanks but, we wouldn't want to bother you and your family, it is your home after all" Zack said, I shook my head. "My parents were murdered, I live alone, come on, it'll be fun" well that came out wrong.
"Oh, sorry for your loss" they said in shock. "That honestly came out as if it was nothing, my friends and I are actually figuring out the case" they nodded.
"So, what do you guys say?" "Sure, it sounds fun, how much will it be for rent though?" I chuckled at Blake's concerns.
"I bought it, you don't have to worry about bills" they gave me the widest smile I've ever seen. "Thank you thank you thank you! You're the best" they engulfed me into a group hug, I stumbled back a little, but eventually got ahold of myself again and hugged them tight.
"Don't sweat it guys, now lets go get your stuff so y'all can leave that place" they nodded and rushed through the snow.
I'm glad I could help my friends.
I honestly think this chapter is adorable, and no, they're not the replacement for Shawn and the twins, Zack and Blake are her roommates.. and they're also her best friends, k fine you win🙄😂 Anywhale🐳 I hope you guys have a good one, love youuuu💜
