Chapter 7

School is now over, guess where I'm heading to right now..

Times up! You guessed it, detention.

Mr.Giraffe over here pushed me and I pushed him back, which lead both of us to detention.

How is pushing someone so bad? Anyway; I'm currently sitting on my desk, I keep my head low, thinking about what I can do to get justice for my parents.

I didn't know I was crying until I felt a tear rolling from my cheek.

"Why me..?" I whispered to myself.

The only people in the room were Shawn and I, the teacher was sleeping and Shawn was on his phone wearing EarPods, he was a few desks in front of me.

My few tears soon turned into crying, I tried to stop but I couldn't, I would give anything to be grounded by my mother, anything.

I don't think people understand how lucky they are to have family, you never know how great is what you have until you lose it, I really wish people would see that.

I started closing my eyes, soon after that I was knocked out.

"Sarah, please make sure you clean your room once you get back from school!" My mom said.

"Of course mom, I love you!" I walked to her and kissed her cheek.

"Have a great day!"

I walked over to where my dad was, I said goodbye and kissed his cheek.

I walked to school, on the way I saw my best friend Leah walking with her boyfriend, I guess she saw me since she started walking towards me.

"Heyo!"

"Hey Leah!"

"Whatcha doin?"

"I mean what else am I supposed to do at 7:00am?"

"Fair point" she said.         

----after school----

"Hey mom! I'm back!"

There was no answer, that's odd, they're always back home before I get back from school.

"Dad! Mom!" I shouted again, no answer.

I looked around every room in the house, I couldn't find them.

I started getting worried, I decided to call my dad, he always answers the phone.

There was a ring inside the house, they were in here, I followed the sound of his phone.

I reached the second guest room, they were in there.

I opened the door and saw two dead bodies, it was them.

"MOM?! DAD?!" I started freaking out, who did this?!

I couldn't see anything, everything was getting blurry...

"WHY?!" I started screaming and crying, it was all a dream. It felt so real.

"Are you okay?" I heard a voice say, I looked up and it wasn't Shawn, it was another guy, he was really good looking.

"I-I.." I couldn't speak, everything was spinning.

"Hey, Hey, I'm here, calm down" the guy pulled me into his arms, it was a safe feeling, a feeling I haven't had in a while.

"W-what's your n-name?" I asked.

"I'm Grayson, what's yours?"

"I'm Sarah, what are you doing here? I didn't notice you before"

"I was just leaving, but I saw someone in the room, everyone left already so I decided to check"

"Thank you" I said as I hugged him tighter.

"No problem Sarah, wanna exchange numbers?"

"Of course" I smiled.

"I'll see you tomorrow, I want to introduce you to my brother, wanna join us at lunch tomorrow?"

"I'd love to"

"Alright then, call me if you anything, goodbye Sarah"

"Bye Grayson"
