The Princess And Her Lover

My maid tells me that my parents have called for me. What could the want now I think to myself. I get up after she leaves, I swim slowly down the long corridor and pass paintings of my ancestors. As I swim my thoughts wander to my best friend and lover Josefine. She has dark ebony skin, platinum blonde beach waves that reach her hips, she has a white tail with a rose gold reflex, and she is the most beautiful and kind person I've ever seen in my life.

When I look into her loving eyes it feels as though she can see my soul. Then BAM! I ran into a wall with a quiet thud. I look around and I see that I'm close to the throne room, but as I'm about to walk in I hear my mom say

''So! We were 12yrs old when married. They are 17.''

''So, so you say if we are talking about going back to ancient times rules this conversation is over.''

Replied my dad

''Kev you know what I mean'' said my mom

''No honey I don't. All I hear is you saying our daughter has to marry someone she barely knows someone she could hate. At Least we loved each other'' said my dad

Thats when I walked in.

They stopped talking instantly. When looked at my father his eyes were glassy.

''Go on hon tell her'' said my dad strained

''Well ok, do you know the prince of the indian ocean?'' asked my mom

''Of course the he is the one of the people I'm supposed to marry'' I replied

''But dad said it was cool if I didn't want to'' I stated flatly

''Sorry honey but we searched for options, he is the only one'' Said Mom

As I concealed my tears I replied '' oh ok''

''Do you mind if Josefine comes over'' I choke out

''Of course sugar '' my dad answered with the nickname he gave me

I say ''thanks'' as I turn away to go to my room, and call Joe.

While Madeline is in her room her parents talk.

''She took that better than you expected, I knew she would.'' said Lily

''To you she did, but unlike you I actually know my daughter as a person'' said Kevin Aggravatedly

He then swam away.
