I woke up the next morning feeling sore and tired. I sat in my bed trying to recall the events of last night. I remember falling asleep... on Vio! My face turned bright red. But I shook the feelings aside when a knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.

Vio: Hello Opal? We are going downstairs for breakfast. If you are interested come and join us.

I jumped out of bed in response and checked the egg. It had grown softer and according to Vio that meant that it would be hatching very soon. I felt joy emanating from the egg as if the egg itself was saying good morning. I placed it back in the pouch and turned to walk out the door and to grab some breakfast. I walked down the stair and into a tavern looking place. The delicious scent of food wafted up the stair towards me. I eagerly walked towards the table to sit next to Vio and the others when I caught some of the conversations.

Green: I think it is time to move on from this town.

Vio: Agreed but can we really take the chance with Opal?

I froze, take what chance? Did they not trust me or were they hiding something from me? Just then Red seemed to notice me he shouted over to me with a voice far too loud for this hour.

Red: OPAL!

I blushed with embarrassment as everyone in the bar turned to look at me. I held my head low and went to sit next to Vio.

Blue: Why don't you yell a little louder? I don't think everyone in town heard you!

Red: Sorry Opal.

I nodded my head. I couldn't stay mad at Red. Soon enough food was brought and I ate my fill.

Green: Opal today we will be investigating the surrounding area and I think that it may be best if you stay here for a while.

I didn't know how to feel about that. It hurt a little. Were they going to leave me here in this town? What if they come after me while they are gone?

Vio: I noticed Opal's face suddenly filled with fear. I sighed, Green I don't believe we can leave her without a proper explanation.

Green: I don't know I think we all need time to think about it. I say disperse till 2:00 p.m. and decide then.

Vio: Understand Opal it is not as if we don't trust you.

Blue: Speak for yourself. I don't trust you to have my back when you always have your guard up.

Green: That's funny coming from you Blue!

Blue: Shut up!

Vio: Well this has been fun but I am going to the archery. Red, it may be best that you also work on your swordsmanship and fire rod skills. Preferably away from others.

Green: I am going scouting. See you all later.

I was left sitting there staring at my feet as Blue scowled across the table.

~Meanwhile~

Red: Do you think it is alright that we left Blue and Opal alone.

Vio: I don't like it either but they must learn to trust each other more. It is like Blue said we may need to rely on her during a fight. Who better to have her learn from than Blue.

Red: I still feel guilty.

Vio: As do I but let's try to concentrate on ourselves.

Red: Okay

~Back to Blue and Opal~

We stayed in the same position for about twenty long minutes. I didn't know what to do. I glanced up and he was just staring at me kinda hard with an irritated expression on his face. Crap! What do I do? Did I do something wrong? Suddenly he stood up very abruptly shacking the table as he stood and started walking over to me.
