Blue: Red's hold was loosening, in seconds he would be swept into the stomach of that monster. I looked at his pale face tightened with fear. Tears still slipping down his cheeks his figure suddenly looked so frail. I shook my head and bit my cheek hard. I grabbed his arm and pulled while holding onto the pillar desperately. He seized the support and I grinned before my own grip slipped away. Flinging me helplessly into the Poe's open jaws.
Red: I hugged the pillar tightly my eyes sealed shut in terror. I opened them again as the gusts of air suddenly stopped. Blue! My eyes widened and searched for him frantically, stopping on the Big Poe who was licking his lips evilly. He burst out cackling and I felt my legs tremble and then give in slamming into the floor. "No-no-no-no not again! I can't! Please not again!' I gripped my head, tears collecting in my eyes but refusing to fall.
Miss Fairy: "Hero Red get up! Hurry, please!" I pulled on his ear but he didn't even flinch. I flew in front of his gaze trying to snap him out of his daze.
Red: "Is there even a reason for me to move?" I mumbled, still unmoving as the Big Poe loomed closer toying with me till my end. "Vio, Green, Blue, their all gone. I don't want to be left behind." A small smile placed itself on my lips.
Big Poe: "Yes! Yess! YESSS! Dead! The scent of death fills my lungs! Oh, wait I don't have those anymore... oh well! Your turn! Ho ho hoo!
Miss Fairy: "Avenge them! Stand up! They need to live on through you! Have they taught you nothing? Please, Hero Red!"
Red: I stumble with fear and anger. I let it flow into my limbs and adrenalin pushed me to dash forward. "I'll make them proud! Starting with killing you!" My voice sounded cold and alone it shocked me but I ignored it and drew my sword and rod. I let the rod create a fiery wall, Big Poe screamed in pain but I barely noticed. I charged forward and sliced but my sword went right through him.
Miss Fairy: Hero Red you need to use the fire's light to harm him! Light up the room quickly! This is your chance!
Big Poe: "DIE YOU INSOLENT PIECE OF CRAP!" The red-clad boy barely rolled out of the way of my strike. He was too quick but I would finish him.
Blue: I opened my eyes but it felt like they had been glued shut. Darkness like a wispy smoke was choking me slowly. As if I was being consumed I couldn't even find the strength to stand. I crawled on my stomach searching for my sword. I collapsed after a few minutes of woozy hunting. My knuckles brushed lightly against the familiar hilt of my sword and I shakily curl my figures around it. I let out a heavy breath and my eyes close. This might be it.
Red: I wiped away a few escaping tears as I ran throughout the room my fire rod blazing brightly as I lit one torch and then another.
Big Poe: "NOOoo! I'LL TEAR YOU APART! STARTING WITH YOUR LITTLE ARMS." I swatted down at him again but the light was overpowering me. It seared my flesh and I let out ear piercing cries. Still, the blow connected and I watched his figure slam again a wall face first.
Blue: The sword glowed and I felt Red's hope burning through me. Green's determination ran within me and I struggled painfully to stand. The darkness seemed to pull on my harder but I fell down allowing gravity to bring my sword down hard against this blight. Suddenly a cry broke through and shook the Poe's body. Light opened up beneath me and a floor met me as I fell away from the darkness.
Red: My body throbbed but the torches were almost all lit. Maybe it was enough. I coughed painfully and I slumped allowing my body to go limp.
Miss Fairy: "Hero Red! I flew to his side, "You have to move! Please, get up quickly!"
Red: "I don't think.... I can keep this up... so please.... leave me. Save yourself, okay." I closed my eyes wearily and allowed my body's pain to course through me.
Blue: I jumped up and picked up Red's limp form. "You're not done yet if you quit I'll kick your butt all the way back to the castle."
Red: My eyes snapped open and I hugged Blue tightly. I let out a choked sob and mumbled, "D-Don't k-keep doing this to me, please! I-If you had d-died! I would have-"
Big Poe: "DON'T IGNORE ME!" I blew out the remaining light in the room and I felt the darkness swiftly fly into the room.
Red: I pulled out of Blue's grasp and lit my rod up again. The light flashed and the darkness retreated from me as I ran light torches as my fire danced around me.
Blue: I felt a confident smile appear on my lips as I unsheathed my sword and charged at the Poe as he let out a scream as the light burned him. I brought down a heavy swing evaporating his form leaving on his scream echoing off the walls for a few seconds.
Red: I turned panting and staggered back over to Blue as Miss Fairy hopped happily around me. Blue caught a large shinning pearl out of the air and turned to me with a tired smile.
Miss Fairy: This way Hero Red! It looks like there is a tunnel!
Blue: I followed behind Red as he entered grumbling to myself, "Great another flippin cave system."

(Two hours later)
Green: I finally emerged from a dark tunnel to find myself in a large room with brightly lit torches. If I didn't know better I would think this is a boss room, I thought as I walked down an exit. This tunnel was sweltering as hot hair wafted from somewhere below. But even though my mind and body were both exhausted I felt my brother's hearts still growing strong through our connection with the sword. I felt Blue's rash confidence beating strongly and Red's warmth and joy burning within it. Vio, however, seemed cold and distant and I prayed that he was well. "Keep it up, you guys. I'm on my way just wait up for me." I found the energy to dash down the tunnel.

Vio: I shook my head in dismay, "You know what they say," I said as a dark figure approached quietly from behind. I didn't even flinch as an arm draped over my shoulder, "If you want something done you must do it yourself."
Shadow: "Wise words my knight, it seems we will have to make this more personal." I said with a devilish grin. "I like the way you think Vio, this world is as good as ours. All the pons have fallen into place."
