Literally, because this chapter caused me more problems than any other!

After the most embarrassing moment of my life and Blue's constant nagging, we were on our way to finding the town. Vio and I searched for about a half an hour and finally, we found the road.

Blue: About time.

Red: Yah! We are now unlost!!!

Green: Now it's time for us to split up. I am going to find food. Vio you are in charge of finding information on the surrounding area and maybe you can find a map too. Blue our weapons are either in need of sharpening or replacing altogether. Red how about you explore with Opal?

Red: Yippee!!! You hear that Opal? We are going to get to have fun!

I nodded and smiled at the bouncing boy in front of me. It is hard to believe that he was older than me.

We stood in front of the gates of the city and Blue and Green had already gone off to find their items of interest. Meanwhile, I stood feeling stuck in place. The town looked very daunting from here.

Vio: Is there a problem Opal?

I take his hand but this time hesitantly. I don't know why but when I did so I felt myself blush and my heart flutter a bit. I ignored those feelings and wrote: I have never been in a town before. The only reason I knew where it was is because I passed it when I was on the run.

Vio: I guarantee this will be an interesting experience and one well worth having.

I smiled at his response and he chuckled. We both blushed when we realized we were still holding hands.

Red: Come on! Let's go!

Red grabbed my hand and we ran through those gates. The moment we entered the town I felt a wave of its excitement hit me. There were so many people buying and selling things. The air smelled of food and animals while the noise of the town was overrun with both the chatter of the crowds to the town's musicians. I at first I felt the same amount of excitement that Red did as he leads me from one stall to another, talking nonstop. But after about an hour I began to feel a growing uneasiness. It grew until this towns chatter sounded more like chants. I gripped Red's hand hoping that it would bring just a little comfort. Red noticed this and we stopped for a moment.

Red: I know how about we find the others?

I nodded, we found Blue first who was at the Smithy's shop.

Red: Blue, could I leave Opal here with you while I look for the others?

Blue: Whatever.

Red: Thank you! Opal, I will be right back ok?

I gave him a half-hearted smile and watched him run through the crowd again. I then began to look around the shop. There were many finely crafted blades and swords. My eye caught one in particular that I liked. I picked it up and examined it swinging it a few times to test it. The dagger was well balanced and though it wasn't as flashy or engraved like the others it was still very well made. The dagger was about a foot long and instead of being straight as most daggers I had seen it was curved. It reminded me of an animal claw. I felt Blue approach me from behind so quickly put the blade back.

Blue: That is a fine blade. Hand me yours.

Suddenly I felt ashamed of my weapon. Unlike the other blades, my dagger was only about five inches long and poorly made. It had chips and cracks along the edges and it was even a bit dull. The hilt, if you could call it that was nothing more than some rope tied around the end. So much so that you had to hit your opponent rather hard for it to even do damage. I sheepishly handed it to Blue.
