Chapter 21

*1 day before the talent show*

"Talent show is tomorrow at 6 pm, don't forget," Mrs. Bennett says as the bell rings. 

I walk out and go to the car with the girls. 

"Ok let's go to my house and practice," I say. 

"Ok" they all say. 

As we get home we change into different clothes and practice our dance. We practiced for about two hours to get it perfectly in sync. Once we are done we are drenched in sweat. We go to the kitchen and get Gatorade. The boys soon come in also drenched in sweat and get Gatorade. 

"You guys just finished to?" Austin asks out of breath. 

"Yeah," we all say out of breath. 

We go up to my room and take turns showering. Once we are done we all throw on some Adidas sweats, Adidas shirts, and Adidas. 

We go downstairs and sit down on the couch where the boys are sitting down seeing tv also in Adidas sweats, Adidas shirts, and Adidas. 

"Hey," Brianna says sitting next to Austin. 

"Hey," he says wrapping an arm around her. 

I go sit next to Joshua. 

"Hey," he says kissing my temple. 

At this time Austin knows I broke up with Peyton and I'm back with Joshua. 

"Guys can we go get boba?" Elizabeth asks. 

"Yes please," Brianna says immediately sitting up straight. 

"Yeah let's go," Joshua. 

The rest of us nod our heads. We all get our phones and wallets and go in two separate cars. The boys in Austin's and the girls in mine. Five minutes later we arrive at Moo Moos. We order and pay for our drinks. 

As we wait for our drinks we play black jack with the cards. 

There was a lot of,

"Damn" 

"Come on"

 "UGH"

 "OW" 

"NO I TOUCHED IT FIRST!"

 and,

"you lying cheater!" 

Once we finished our drinks and played for about 30 more minutes we headed back home. Austin dropped off Jason and I dropped off Elizabeth and Brianna. 

Once we get home we see Arrow. It's around seven pm right now. About two hours later we hear a knock at the door. 

"I'll go get it," Austin says getting up. 

He goes and opens the door. 

"Mom!" 

"Hi sweetie, how are you?" 

"I'm good, how did you get here?" 

"I got an Uber." 

Joshua and I stand up and go greet my mom. 

"Mom!" 

"Hi sweetie, I missed you!" 

"I missed you too mom" I say hugging her. 

"Hi Joshua, how are you?" she ask him.

"I'm good Mrs. C" he says hugging her. 

"I said it's Catherine," my mom says slightly smacking his arm.
