Chapter 28

Time skip to Saturday

Sissy's Pov
I wake up at around 8 because Kailani asked to hang out with me and Joshua. I shower then change. Since the weather is warm I put on a light pink maxi dress, a Jean jacket, and sandals.

I straighten my hair and do my make up.

I finish around 8:40 and by 8:45 Kailani calls me that she's outside. I say bye to my mom that's eating and then get in Kailani's car. We go around the corner and pick up Joshua. "Hey babe" Joshua says getting in the back seat and kissing me on the cheek. "Hey" I smile at him. "So where are we going?" he asks. "To eat of course" Kailani says. We go to Black Bear Diner. "So what are guys up to today?" Kailani asks before she stuffs her mouth. "Nothing" we both say. "So when are you supposed to be due?" Kailani asks. "March 14, so in two weeks in a half or so." "Did you guys figure out what you guys are going to do after the baby is born?" "Oh yeah! I bought the appartment on Wednesday!" Joshua says. "Omg really?! This awesome!" I say hugging him. "That's awesome guys!" Kailani says. "I'm thinking of moving stuff starting in a day or two" Joshua says. "Nice" Kailani and I say. After we finish eating we pay and head to the mall. "I need to get more sandals" I say. So we head to DSW. I find some cute ones that are black and have different color rhinestones. I buy those then we go to the store with all the comic, superheroes, and villains things. (I completely forgot what it's called). I find a poster of Stephen Amell and Colton Haynes as Green Arrow and Arsenal. So I of course get that. Joshua finds a poster of Grant Gustin as The Flash and gets it. I also found a Riverdale bag and get it. We then go to Jamba Juice and get something. It's around 10:30 when we get our drinks. After we receive our drinks we go to Sephora. We look around and test things with Joshua behind us asking questions about different products and what they are used for. We head to Tops to see what we can find. I find a Seahawks beanie and hat so I decide to get that with the signature and number of Russel Wilson. Joshua finds a Raiders hat and gets it with Marshawn Lynch's signature and number on the side. We head out of there and decide to get Taco Bell. By the time we finish our food its 1:30. "I think I'm done" Kailani says. "Yeah, I'm little tired to" I say. "Should we head home?" Joshua asks. We nod our heads. We head to the car and drive to my house. "Guys follow me really quick" Kailani says leading us to the backyard. "Why?" I say following. "Please." "Sure" I say confused. "Suprise!" is all I hear when we step outside. "Oh my god" I say covering my mouth. "You guys did all of this?" Joshua says putting his hands on my shoulders. "Yup" Austin says coming towards us. "Thanks" I say hugging him. "Thank mom, she was the one who organized everything." I walk over to my mom and hug her. "Thanks mom." "Your welcome sweetheart." I say hi to my friends and family members. "No way! I can't believe your here!" I say hugging my cousin, Dylan. I haven't seen him since I was 7 and he was 12 and the fact that he moved to New York. I think it's amazing to have a cousin that's older than you cause they get you, they understand what you are going through. "Hey sis" he says hugging me back. He calls me sis cause we have been so close its like we were brother and sister. I see some girl next to him. "Hi" I say after we stop hugging. "This is Arlette, my fiancé. Arlette this is Sissy, my cousin." "Oh my god, your engaged! That's awesome! It's so good to meet you!" I say hugging her. "You too! He has told me so much about you!" "Well if you could excuse me" I say. "Go ahead" they say. I see that Peyton is here with that girl Kamea. "Hi" I say hugging him. "Hi, congratulations." "Thanks. Kamea right" I say turning towards her. "Hi, yes. Sorry I'm just here since we dont really know each other that well. It just that I'm Peyton's girlfriend" she says shaking my hand. "No its completely fine. I hope we get to know each other better." "Likewise." I continue saying hi and then I go back to Joshua. And he wraps his arms from behind me and rests his chin on my shoulder. "This is amazing" I say. "I didn't even expect this" he says kissing my cheek. "Ok guys, the food is ready so if you guys can sit down at your assigned tables so we can call you up" my mom says. Austin leads us to our table where Dylan, Arlette, dad, mom, Brianna, and us our sitting. So it's the table for the closest family members I guess. We get called up first and we get our food. After we all finish eating mom and Brianna pull me inside. "Ok so we are going to play a game where people guess how big your stomach is so we have to measure you for the correct size" mom says. "Ok." Brianna gets a string measured me and then cuts the string. "Alright let's go out" Brianna says putting the string in her pocket. My mom explains the game to everyone and says that there are a couple of rolls of string and scissors in some tables to pass around. After they all finish they give the strings to Brianna to measure. The one that was the same length was Joshua's. There were several people who were really close. Joshua received his prize then my mom explained the next game. It was a game to see who can get as many pacifiers on a stick in a minute. The girls and I went first. "Elizabeth won, then I was second, Brianna was fourth, and Brianna was fifth. Everyone took turns and the winner of each round received their prize. Next my mom explained a game where they had to guess what kind of chocolate was in the diaper and to write it down on a paper at your table. I went first. There where 4 different diapers. I smelled it, then looked at it, then smelled it again. I wrote down my answers and Joshua went next. After it went around Brianna gave out the answers. Me, Kamea, Arlette, Joshua, and Dylan got them all right and received our prizes. My mom then explained that the guys were going to do a drinking competition. Brianna and Elizabeth had put orange soda in baby bottles. First went Joshua, Dylan, Austin, Brandon, Jason, and Peyton. Austin had won, then Jason, then Dylan, then Peyton, then Brandon. Then my mom explained the next game. She had a board with baby pictures of different people. We had to guess who they were. She said that there were papers on our table and to write our answers on them. My table went first, so on, and so on. After they all finished Elizabeth said the answers. It was My mom, my dad, me, Austin, Joshua, Elizabeth, Dylan, Brianna, Kailani, and Joshua's parents. Joshua, Joshua's parents, my dad, and Dylan got them all right since we knowed them best and the girls couldnt play since they already knew the answers. Kailani then went to cut the cake and my mom helped her put pieces on plates. Tables were called up one by one to get dessert. My table went first. We got our dessert then went back to the table. After that, my mom put on some music and we started dancing. I slow danced with Joshua, Austin, Dylan, and my dad. Then we just danced normally I guess. Mic Drop by BTS came on and me and the girls did some of the parts of the dance since I couldn't do all of it. Then Suavemente came on and I danced with Dylan. After I danced with Austin to Bialar. Joshua and I danced to Dueña Del Swing. I then danced with Peyton to Despacito. I then danced with Joshua again to Corazon. Then we all danced to the Cupid Shuffle. We then all started to form a circle and dance. Whenever we have parties we always tend to end up in circles. We where dancing to Mi Gente. Austin and Brianna went in the middle and did a little dance. Elizabeth anfld her brother went in and did their dance. Then Brandon and Kailani, then Dylan and Arlette, the Joshua and I, then Jason and Elizabeth, then Peyton and Kamea, and so on. People started leaving around 8 pm. Once everything was cleaned up it was 10:30. "I had a great time, thank you" I say. "Your welcome" my mom, brother, the girls, and the boys say. "Are you going to spend the night?" Joshua asks Dylan. "Yeah bro, we are staying till next week." "Really!? Yay!" I say. Joshua knows Dylan because they were both always over the house and they were like brothers and still are. We go inside and lead Dylan and Arlette to the basement, since the couch turns into a bed. We help set up and ask them if they need anything else. "I think we are fine right now" Arlette says. We head back upstairs and and say bye to the boys and the girls. Joshua stays though. Joshua and I say goodnight to my mom and Austin, then we go upstairs to my room. "The next appointment is on Monday at 4:00 pm" I say putting my hands on my stomach. "I can't believe we only have a couple more weeks" he says coming up to me and wrapping me in his arms. "Your gonna be a great dad" I say resting my head on his shoulder. "And you an awesome mom" he says kissing my head. "Hey, maybe Dylan can help you start moving things into the appartment" I suggest. "That'll be nice." "We never thought of a middle name" I say looking up at him. "How about Alexandrea?" he says in his nice gentle tone. He knows how much that name means to me. He knows how sensitive I am when someone brings up that name. He knew what I went through. "I like that" I say hugging him and tearing up a bit. He kisses my head again. "Come on, let's go to bed" he says. We get under the blankets and almost immediately we fall asleep.
"Please find her!"
"They took her!"
"We were all asleep."
"It's been a whole month already!"
"She's dead, I'm very sorry."
"NO! THIS CAN'T BE! IT'S ALL MY FAULT!"
I wake up hyperventilating with tears running down my face. "Hey what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Joshua says immediately waking up. He checks the time and its 4 am. "I had a nightmare. Well more like flashbacks about Her." I say leaning on Joshua and still crying. "Hey, listen to me. It's ok, I'm right here. Your gonna be fine" he says wrapping me in his arms. "Try going back to sleep" he says wiping away my tears. I nod and lay back down. I curl up next to Joshua while he wraps me back in his arms. After about 10 minutes I was able to go back to sleep. The rest of the night I didn't wake.
