Chapter 31

Sissy's POV
March 24, 1 week later

"GUYS I THINK MY WATER JUST BROKE" I yell as I was walking to the couch. "Omg ok, hold on" Dylan says. He decided to stay an extra week. "AUNTY, ARLETTE, AUSTIN, JOSHUA! GET DOWN HERE HER WATER JUST BROKE!" Dylan yelled. "OH MY GOD I'M GOING" my mom yells. I had to sit down on the couch cause it was hurting. I hear a lot of footsteps rushing down the stairs. I look at them rushing down. I see Austin tumbled the rest of the way down cause he lost his footing. "Shit" he hissed. Arlette went to go get a bag and car seat we had prepared. My mom got her keys and bag. Austin and Joshua helped me to the car. I got in the back with Joshua. Arlette g ave the stuff to Austin and then went to going Dylan in his car. "Austin call Brianna and tell her to tell the girls!" I say. "Ok, ok I'm going" he says pulling out his phone and calling. "I can't believe it's finally happening" Joshua says holding my hand and kissing it. "I can't believe it either" I say pecking his lips. "UGH! OMG HURRY UP IT HURTS!" I exclaim to my mom. "Yes her water just broke, now meet us at the hospital and tell the rest of the girls" Austin says talking into the phone. "Hold on sweetie just wait one more minute" my mom says. "OH MY GOD IT HURTS HURRY UP! HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS IT HURTS!" I yell grabbing onto Joshua's hand. "Almost there hold on" Joshua says. "SHIT!" I yell again. I hurts so bad. We finally get to the hospital. Dylan informs the nurses and they take me to a room. Dylan, Arlette, Austin, Joshua, and my mom follow. They lay me on the bed and the doctor comes in immediately. "We're here!" the girls says busting into the room. "Ok I'm here" I see my dad rushing in. On one side I have Joshua holding onto my hand. On the other side I have Austin holding my hand and Dylan my arm. "Ok I'm going to need you to push!" the doctor says. I do as in instructed and omg. "UGH! OH MY GOD IT HURTS!" I say pushing. "Ok push!" the doctor says again. I push. "SHIT IT HURTS! THIS IS YOUR DOING! YOU'RE PUTTING ME THROUGH ALL THIS PAIN!" I say scolding at Joshua. "Hey it's ok, it's almost over" he says with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face. "The head is out! Ok one more push!" I push. "HOLY CRAP!" "Ok one more push." "YOU HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT! JUST GET THE BABY OUT!" I yell at the doctor while pushing. "It's out!" the doctor explains. "Dad do you want to cut the cord?" the doctor asks Joshua. "Yes" he says letting go of my hand and going to cut the cord. "Congratulations, it's a girl" the doctor says as I get handed the baby. Tears stream down my face and a smile appears on my face. The nurses take the baby and clean her off. They then hand her back to me. She starts crying so I nurse her. "What's her name?" the doctor asks. "Emily Alexandrea Mendez" I say smiling. Joshua is next to me crying while he is touching the Emily's head. "The time of birth was 1:48 pm" the doctor says. He then walks out. "Oh my god" the girls squeal. Everybody circles around the bed. "The boys are in the waiting room. Is it ok if they come in?" Kailani asks. "Of course" I say smiling. She texts them and a minute later they show up in the room. "Congrats" they all say. "Thanks" both Joshua and I say. I hand the baby to Joshua. He takes her in his hands and kisses her forehead. He then passes the baby to my mom. Everyone gets a chance to hold her. Joshua kisses me. "I love you so much" he says. "I love you too" I say.

3 days later

I was walking out of the hospital and heading back to the car with Joshua. He had Emily in the car seat already. She was asleep. He strapped in the seat in the back and I got in the front. "So to your mom's house first?" Joshua asks. "Yup" I say smiling at him. We drive off to my mom's house where everyone is waiting for us. When we get there everyone is setting up. "We're here!" I say as we walk in. "Yay!" they all say. We say hi and we all sit down and eat. We talked about the baby and what is going to happen with school. "Well the teachers said that I could do the work at home. They are going to record the lesson for me" I explain. "Lucky" Brianna says. We all laugh. Emily had just woken up and my mom asked to carry her. So she was currently carring Emily. It was around 9 pm when we all left my mom's house. Yes, Joshua and I had already started living in the apartment. When we got there I put Emily in her crib in the nursery. I then went to the kitchen. I found Joshua eating a bowl of cereal. "How could you possibly eat again?" I ask laughing. "I'm hungry" he says chuckling. I sit down next to him and he grabs my hand. "We are going to be great parents" he says smiling. "I know we are" I say kissing his cheek. "I'll meet you in bed" I say going towards the room. I change into some sweats and a tank top. I go wash my face and brush my teeth. By the time I get out of the bathroom Joshua is already in the bed. I go to the bed and cuddle up next to him. "I love you so much" I say. "I love you more" he says kissing my forehead. I then fall asleep. Around 3 am I wake up to the sound of Emily crying. I get up and walk over to the nursery. I turn on the light and get her out of her crib. I change her diaper and then I sit on the rocking chair to nurse her. "Mommy loves you so very much" I whisper the kiss her head.
