We need a reason...

After a couple of hours, we are eating in silence. My mom tries very hard to break this awkward silence, but she keeps failing. I play with my food instead of eating it and I drink a lot of wine

"Babe, eat something..." John says to my ear worried

"I'm not hungry"

"Yeah, but u can't just drink...it will mess u up!" He insists again and I smile

"Don't worry, I'll be fine..." I reply and kiss him

"Well, I could use a smoke..." I say as I get up, putting my cardigan on. I take my purse and my glass of wine and go outside

Anthony's P.O.V

"Please, Anthony go with her..." Anna says

"What? Why?"

"To keep her company and try to get along..."

"Ugh! Fine!" I say and get up, going outside too

"Alexa..." I start when I find her with her back on a wall, smoking

"Hell! Why did u come? Can't I ruin my lungs in peace?" she asks frustrated

"Your mom sent me. She thinks we should get along... " I say and she chuckles

"She's so stupid..."

"Don't talk like that"

"Aww I'm sorry, did I offend your sweetheart?" She replies ironically

"Alexa, please...u know I don't feel anything about her" I say going closer

"If that's so, why are u still with her?"

"Because I want to have a connection with u!"

"Bull...this is all bullshit! And get it together! We're done!" She replies, throwing her cigarette on the ground, then she steps on it and goes inside again

Alexa's P.O.V

"Come on John, we're leaving"I say when I arrive at the table

"Why?" he asks confused

"I can't stand sitting in this table, without punching the shit out of him" I answer and John gets up

"Come on Alexa, it's just one night! Give him a shot!" My mum beggs

"No, I sat here long enough. I was nice, but that's over!" I start walking away and on my way I see Anthony coming in

"Alexa, please..." He starts and I give him the middle finger as I keep walking. John is running behind me

"What got into you?" John asks when we're outside, and then he tells the valets to get him his car

"I just can't stand him! He makes me sick..."I reply. They bring us the car and we leave

After they left I was pissed. She's so irrational, she doesn't know how to listen! Anyway, we paid and left. Anna was talking on the way to her house, but I wasn't listening. We arrived and we got in

"U know, u have to make her like u. We can't live like that" Anna says

"I can't do anything, she doesn't like me...she will never like me!"

"Anthony...she's just a kid!"

"No she's not! She's a grown woman and she's right about hating me"

"Oh, come on, Anthony, u're not the reason I got divorced! There were more problems...she just doesn't know about them!"
