It's Saturday and Anthony and I are sitting in the porch of his home in Seattle. I decided to spent the weekend there instead of him coming to Texas. While we sit and drink our morning cofee,my phone rings

"Hello?"

"Miss Cara?"

"That's she..."

"Good morning miss Cara. I'm calling u from the DA's office to inform u of a lawsuit against u."

"Lawsuit? About what?"

"Attempted murder towards miss Nancy Stevens..." When I hear the charges I freeze. Anthony asks me with signs, but I ignore him

"Are u pulling a prank on me or something? I didn't try to kill her..."

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but I'm serious. She is charging u for attempted murder. The trial is on February 20th."

"Alright then, thank u for notifying me..." I hang up the phone

"What the fuck??" Anthony asks

"Nancy pressed charges on me for attempted murder. I have a trial for February 20th..." I explain, obviously shocked

"No way..."

"Yes, way...what am I gonna do now? My life is ruined!"

"What if u beg her to drop it?"

"I'm not gonna do that! U should be charging her and John for identity theft!"

"Come on, Alexa...swallow your pride for once!"

"It's not about pride! It's about what's fair...I'm not gonna beg her to drop it or ask her for forgiveness! She deserved what I did to her and if she wants to play it that way,let's play..."

"Fine...but U'll use my lawyer!"

"I'm cool with that, I don't have another one..."

"Good...and don't worry, u will be acquited" he says and hugs me

"We'd like to call Alexandra Cara on the stand..." The judge says and I get up.

I walk towards the stand and when I'm there,I sit. My lawyer comes close. After I swear and they ask me to state my full name, we start.

"So, miss Cara, could u please tell us why u hit miss Stevens?" She asks

"Yes. She was claiming that she had intercourse with my boyfriend. She also showed me some messages that later I found out were not exchanged actually between him and her..."

"Would you like to tell us how u found out about that?"

"Objection, relevance!" Nancy's lawyer says

"Overruled! Miss Cara, answer the question..." The judge says

"Yes, well Anthony told me his account was hacked 3 days prior and that he had notified the authorities. And after, they told us that the hacking was done from an internet café. We are sure about the identity of the hacker, so we didn't dig more..."

"I see...what else did miss Stevens say?" My lawyer asks

"I asked her to tell me something only my boyfriend's sex-partners could know, so she told me about a tattoo he has. After that,I punched her and then she smiled and told me that she's not who I should hit."
