"Good morning, Mr Kwon! Your schedule today is quite empty, you have two meetings regarding the collaboration of Fraser Park and YM Corporate, both at 10.30am and 1.45pm, and the cleanliness inspection of the hotel's kitchens later on at 9." I blurted out confidently as I walked alongside the young man, but I made sure to keep myself a meter away from him.

Mr Kwon nodded. 

"Well done, you finally remembered to keep a distance away from me, and thank you for the schedule update." Mr Kwon said, smiling. I stepped into the elevator with him and I pressed the button to the office floor, which was on the twenty-first floor.

As the elevator slowly made its way up, he broke the silence.

"About that day... I'm sorry if I scared you a little, I was just trying something with your brother..." Mr- Okay... Soonyoung said, looking away.

I shook my head.

O-kay. Awkward. I never said that I was scared. Although I was a little freaked out.

"It's fine." I said.

I was giving myself ten mental slaps in my mind. Why did I even say that? Do I seriously have nothing to say?

"Okay, uh... I don't know if you know this yet...But Wonwoo and I are going out for a drink later in the evening. You wanna come along?" Soonyoung asked, smiling a little.

It was really weird, because he was standing at one end of the elevator, and I was standing at the other end.

A drink? Like, at the club? But didn't Wonwoo say that he never drinks?

"Sure! I'm free later on. I guess I'll see you later then?" I asked, probably smiling back like an idiot. The elevator stopped at the twenty-first floor and the doors opened.

Soonyoung smirked and waved at me cheekily before stepping out and walking away.

"Jisoojisoojisoojisoojisoojisoo!" I winced in annoyance as Ji Ae started tapping my shoulder repeatedly.

"Whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat!" I replied back, smacking my friend's hand. Ji Ae pulled back her hand and shook it to wear the pain off.

"Guess what?" Ji Ae chirped, excited for something.

"What?"

"We are gonna have a new colleague today! Isn't that exciting? New friend!" Ji Ae squealed in utter excitement.

What's so exciting about that though...

"Yeah...yay." I said sarcastically, before standing up, getting ready to leave the printing room.

"Bye! See you later at lunch!" Ji Ae called out, and I gave her a thumbs up as I left.

I still can't get used to how all the staff stare at me whenever I enter Soonyoung's office. And I also can't seem to get used to working in the same office as Soonyoung. Just the two of us. I'm sitting at one end, and he's obviously sitting at the other end.

I mean, of course I can't get used to it! I've only been working here for two months now!

I pushed open the glass door to the office that I share with Soonyoung and I sat at my seat. Soonyoung was seated at the other end, typing something into his computer.

I sighed and set that pile of papers that I had printed out earlier on my desk, and I started to sort them out based on the different companies which want to collaborate with us.

I slowly peeked out from the side of my huge computer and I watched intently as Jisoo started separating some stacks of paper.

Seeing her focusing on so much of her work is actually making me feel bad. She's only working here temporarily until I pay her the salary after I've deducted the amount that she owes me for the incident that night, then she's going to leave.

She'll leave and she will probably never come back again unless I visit Wonwoo.

Just then, Jisoo caught me staring. She looked up at me with a confused face. "Uh, is there anything that I can help you with?"

Flustered, I quickly stood up and arranged God knows what on my table because my table was already clean and organized, so I didn't know what exactly I was doing. Just then, I blurted out the stupidest thing ever.

"aHAH. I was just on my way to my second meeting aHAH I am so late, oh mY!" I said, quickly picking up some random papers.

Jisoo glanced at her watch.

"But the second meeting is at 1.45pm. It's 12.26pm now."

Oh.

Okay I'm stupid.

"oH aHAH! I must have seen the time wrongly, then! Okay I'll just sit here. gO gET mE my coffee!" I blurted out once again, low-key lowering my head in embarrassment.

Jisoo nodded and stood up slowly.

"Would you like your usu-"

"yES!"
