My head shot up as I heard the glass door open, and sure enough, Jisoo was standing there with my coffee.

She quickly placed it on my table and stepped away.

Well done, Soonyoung. She probably thinks that you're a freak now.

As Jisoo was about to sit back down, the glass doors burst open and I jumped up in fright.

A young male staff was panting, and he was holding a few sheets of paper. He handed me the papers and I looked through them.

"A new worker?" I asked in curiosity.

The male staff nodded.

"Yes, and the management team wants Ms Jeon to show the new guy around to familiarize him with the hotel's surroundings."

Jisoo stood up. "But I'm still considered new in this company. I can't possibly show a newbie around when I am a newbie myself, can I?" Jisoo's shivering eyes looked at me wistfully.

I swallowed. I was getting nervous all of a sudden.

"You can do it, Jisoo. It's just showing the new staff around." I assured Jisoo, although I was pretty unsure myself if she would be able to do a good job showing the staff around.

Jisoo nodded, following the male staff out of the glass doors.

"Okay, the new staff member is waiting in the lobby, right next to the check-in reception counter. He's seated at the long sofa, and he's wearing a light green sweater. Good luck, Ms Jeon." The male staff instructed, wishing me luck in the end before leaving.

I nodded slowly before scanning the whole lobby area. There were guests who were checking in, a few were checking out. My eyes shifted to the couch positioned next to the reception counter, and sure enough, I saw the new staff with a mask covering his face, and he was calling someone.

A cold chill ran down my spine as I walked towards the man as quickly as possible.

"Um, excuse me? Are you by chance the new staff member?" I asked, lightly gesturing to the man. The man glanced up at me and removed his mask, which revealed that familiar looking angel-like face, a little surprised to see me.

Jeonghan stood up and scanned me from top to toe. "Ji...soo? Is that really you?" He asked, his surprised expression slowly fades away, becoming a smile.

I stepped back, flustered. "What are you doing here?"

Jeonghan smiled at me. "Its my first day of work here as a staff of the hotel management. So you're the one who's going to show me around?"

Shoot. Worst case scenario.

I felt like my whole world just crumbled down before me. If he's under the hotel management team, then he'll be occupying that empty desk right in front of my office, and he'll be able to observe my every move and-

"Yes whatever, follow me." I said bluntly.

Jeonghan smiled and followed me.
