"It will. You just have to try, Soonyoung."
I have to try.
I need to at least try.
I heaved a huge sigh and sank onto my bed, glancing at the clock as I lay down. It was 6pm, another hour before going for a drink with Wonwoo.
And...Jisoo...
I really don't want to harm anyone just because of my selfish desire to recover from this 10 year allergy. Especially Jisoo, my very own secretary.
The guilt begun to flow through me as I thought about the consequences.
I would end up hospitalized.
Wonwoo would hate me.
Jisoo would stay away from me...
...maybe forever.
"It will. You just have to try, Soonyoung."
My lips parted slightly as determination overtook my guilt and fear.

The classy music blasted through the whole bar, and I coughed a little on my drink.
The music wasn't those kind of loud, funky pop music that you would typically hear in a club, in fact, we're at the new bar that just opened a few weeks ago, and they were playing classical piano music, on top volume.
I'm pretty sure I went deaf already.
There were many girls of my age or possibly even older all staring at Wonwoo and whispering amongst themselves. I happened to overhear a few cringey lines.
"Who's that?"
"He looks so cute!"
"Should I ask for his number?"
"Who's that girl beside him?"
"Is he a high schooler?"
"Oh my God, my dad would approve of him."
"I wonder if he has a girlfriend!"
Wonwoo paid no attention to them however. He just stared out the glass window, glancing at the cars zooming past. What a weirdo.
Can't blame him though, those girls are weirdos too.
Sighing, Wonwoo placed his glass onto the table and picked up his phone. "I wonder where Hoshi is..."
"Why do you call him Hoshi? Isn't Soonyoung his name?" I asked, curious.
Wonwoo shrugged.
"In Japanese, Hoshi means 'star' and he told me that ever since a fateful accident that occurred when he was younger, he started to call himself Hoshi." He explained, and I merely nodded as he spoke.
Hoshi...
Okay, no matter how many times I reread that name in my mind, how come I still think it's a really stupid name?
Just then, the door of the bar slid open and a familiar figure walked in, wearing a loose grey shirt and skinny jeans.
Waving and smiling, Soonyoung slid into the seat beside Wonwoo.
Wonwoo looked uneasy for some reason.
"Sorry I'm late, I got caught up with traffic for quite a while." Soonyoung grinned, glancing between me and Wonwoo. Wonwoo nodded and patted Soonyoung's shoulder. "It's alright, we didn't wait long."
Soonyoung glanced at me.
I tightened my lips.
He smiled and waved.
I nodded.
Okay I'm stupid.
"Alright, let's order then!" Wonwoo clapped his hands happily as he raised one hand to motion for a waiter.
