An hour before...

I heaved a huge sigh of relief as I slowly tapped on the contact which I had named 'jerk' and started to type, my fingers trembling.

You:
hi can we talk

As I tapped the 'send' button, Jeonghan's reply immediately popped up.

You:
hi can we talk

jerk:
oh hi. didnt expect a text from you. yeah sure spill i just ended work

You:
im sorry if u felt that i pressurized u too much during our previous relationship, and rlly, i totally understand. i just really hated how u just dumped me like that n refused to share any of your secrets with me

jerk:
jisoo

You:
but i guess i know y you ended things w me; jeonghan y didnt u tell me u were gay and that u were just dating me as a way to forget joshua?

jerk:
jisoo, how did you even know?

You:
joshua's back, and he misses u.

-jerk went offline-

"What the- how can he just go offline like that?" I huffed, showing Joshua the text.

Minghao glared daggers at me while Junhui, being the ass he was, was still munching loudly on his fried waffles. Joshua sighed and leaned against the wall, clearly bothered.

"Do you think he'll forgive me? I mean, when he went offline, he could have chosen not to hear anything related to me-"

It was now 1.21pm, the rain outside poured heavily and all of us could compare the loud noises of the pour to Joshua's current mood. It was pretty much the same.

"Joshua, shut up. He's my ex, and based on how much I know him, he will definitely forgive you. You're back now, aren't you?" I cut Joshua's words and reassured him.

Minghao stood up and folded his arms. "How is it even possible that you didn't know you were previously dating a gay? For such a long period of time?"

I shrugged, unsure of that myself.

"It's just that, he showered me with so much love, that I couldn't even tell that something was a bit off with him." My eyes lowered to the wooden floor.

Just then, the door bursts open and a man with drenched chestnut hair emerged at the doorway.

A dripping wet Jeonghan was standing at the doorway, his eyes scanning the studio for...Joshua. He burst into tears and rushed to Joshua, scooping him into a hug. Joshua started sniffing as well, then the both of then burst into tears.

"I'm so, sorry, Hannie. I left you before even saying goodbye. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Joshua wailed, hugging Jeonghan and burying his head into Jeonghan's neck.

Jeonghan shook his head as patted Joshua's head. "It's okay. It's my fault too, I shouldn't have dated someone I didn't like just to forget about you."

My nose tingled a little and I started to get a little watery as well, but then I realized. Wait, was he talking about me?

Minghao didn't budge, but his look softened as he saw the both of them hugging and sobbing together. Junhui, on the other hand, was still shoving waffles in his face.

Now that they're happy, I should be too...

...right?

"This doesn't feel right, Wonwoo... I feel like I'm deceiving him. I hate lying..." I whispered, my head lowered.

Wonwoo was focused on driving, but he had heard what I said. "It's a white lie, Soo. You're lying positively. I don't want you to get your heart broken anymore, that's why I forbid you to date after that incident with Jeonghan."

I sighed.

"I just found out that Jeonghan's gay. And he was just dating me just to forget about his ex, which is Joshua. And they reunited today." I said, still unable to believe that I never noticed that my ex was actually a gay.

Wonwoo widened his eyes. "That's..."

But then he shook his head. "Never mind, at least they're happy now, right?"

I nodded. "I guess."

Wonwoo tapped his fingers lightly on the steering wheel as he turned to the drive in parking lot and parked the car.

Before he could open the door, I grabbed his arm. "Wait, can we go somewhere first? I'll be brief. Promise."

Present Time

"You can't keep the guest waiting, you know? It's rude." The man whom I learnt was Soonyoung's elder cousin said, frowning. With my back facing Soonyoung and my hoodie over my head, I nervously bit my lip.

I heard a clank and footsteps shuffle away.

No, I can't miss this chance. I can't. Wonwoo's waiting outside and I can't keep him waiting nor let him find out what I'm up to.

Before Soonyoung could leave, I immediately stood up and grabbed his arm.

"It's a 'she'? The guest is a 'she'?" Soonyoung growled huskily, clearly annoyed as he shook his hand off my grip.

Soonyoung's cousin looked at me uneasily, then he looked at my hand.

As Soonyoung proceeded up the spiraling stairs without even looking back, I had no choice but to-

"Youngie!"
