The world...felt like it was spinning. Revolting around me. My head hurt so much, it was no different from having a hangover, and my body felt so numb, I couldn't even move a limb.

But one thing I knew was, I was awake. My eyelids still felt heavy though, as I scanned my surroundings. I groaned silently when I yet again met with the familiar hospital ward.

A warm weight shifted on my left hand and I slowly sat up.

My chapped lips parted as I saw a sleeping Jisoo resting her head on the bed, with one hand resting right above mine. It wasn't Jisoo's presence that shocked me though, but it was the sudden skinship we were having.

I glanced at my arms and felt my cheeks with one hand as I slowly slid my left hand away from Jisoo's grasp. It felt...strange not having my usual allergy reaction.

Then it hit me, hard.

Just then, the door of the ward slid open and Doctor Park stepped in, his usual thin glasses absent from the ridge of his nose, and his usual thin smile was curled up into a bigger one.

"Good morning. How does it feel, Soonyoung?" Doctor Park grinned, clicking his pen and resting his wrist on his clipboard, waiting for my reply.

I was in a complete daze, and extremely confused.

Doctor Park smiled and nodded his head slowly. "Don't worry, shock should be a normal reaction," he says, eyes drooping to Jisoo, who was still asleep. "It's her, isn't it? She's been here since yesterday evening."

Yesterday...evening?
