"What do you mean Jisoo's not Sooji?" Hoshi stammered in disbelief after I explained everything.

"Sooji and I...we were adopted by different people. I lost contact with her afterwards. And so, Jisoo and her single father adopted me, but shortly after I was adopted, Jisoo's father left us."

"So in other words..." Hoshi slowly trailed off, his face grew paler and paler every second.

"Sooji isn't Jisoo, Jisoo isn't Sooji." I said finally, biting the insides of my cheek nervously.

"Then...Where is Sooji now..."

I shrugged.

"I have no idea either, we were adopted by different families." I tried to say as sadly as possible.

Hoshi slowly stood up from the sofa, but soon after his legs gave way and he collapsed on his knees, with me supporting his arms.

"Soonyoung, are you okay?" I asked, helping him back onto the sofa.

"Wonwoo."

"Tell me you're not lying, Wonwoo." Hoshi choked back on his tears as he slowly sat back down.

I slowly closed my eyes and sighed.

"Hoshi, I-"

"Tell me you're not lying right now!" Hoshi shouted, tears streaming down his cheeks as he ruffled his hair and let out one final yell.

I'm sorry, Kwon Soonyoung.

I sat in front of my closed door, with my back pressed tightly against it as my head burried itself into my knees.

Warm tears made their way out of my eyes as I sniffed. I felt bad. So bad for regaining my memories. I hated having to keep things to myself. I never knew that Soonyoung was Youngie. It never occurred to me that my boss would be my...

I'm sorry, Youngie.

I really...

...really...

...am.

Seoul, 2013, 9.10am

A young doctor slides the ward door open and comes in, with a black clipboard in between his fingers.

A different teenage boy stood up from his seat and approaches the doctor. "How is she?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowing.

"Your sister is fine, but her sudden memory return of her past is really quite something, never seen anything like this before." The doctor says, smiling. "I'll need your guardian to come down to sign this paperwork first before I can discharge your sister."

The boy lowers his head.

"Our...parents passed away two years ago, and our new family was a man, but he abandoned us shortly after he adopted us without even saying a word, so..."

The young doctor frowns and looks at the young girl, who was still asleep on the hospital bed.

"I'll figure something out, just let her get plenty of rest for the time being." The doctor nodded, before leaving the ward in a hurry.

Sighing, the boy sits back down on the chair next to his sister's hospital bed. The girl slowly opened her eyes, allowing a fresh teardrop slide down her face. "I thought that I would forget everything..." she whispered, loud enough for her brother to hear.

"I thought so too...But you're okay now, Sooji. You're okay. You recalled everything." The boy says, holding his sister's frail and thin hands in his large and warm ones.

"Wonho, let's change our names legally. I can't bear to have the name Sooji anymore. It's reminding me too much painful memories of the past. I want to get it changed." The girl says, her sweet voice soft and cracked.

"If that's what you want, we will." The boy agrees, nodding.

The girl slowly turns her head towards the open window, and sighs softly, with yet another tear falling from her eye.

"I'm sorry, Youngie...Just know that... I really really love you..."
