Seolhyun banged her fists on the glass table of the conference room, and she glared daggers at me.

"Fire her." She hissed. It didn't even scare me that I had never seen this side of Seolhyun.

"Chill, you'll break the glass table. My dad paid thousands of won for this." I said, looking away.

Seolhyun walked towards me on her high heels, the thick leathered wood clicking and echoeing off the empty conference room. "Why did you hire her?? I don't like that girl!"

"Jung Seolhyun. Who I hire is none of your business, and you're just my fiancee, you can't boss me around." I said.

Seolhyun laughed to herself. "I do have authority to boss you around! You need to make sure you have zero interactions with any other women before our wedding-"

"Wedding? What wedding? I never said that I wanted to marry you. I never even agreed to the marriage." I said, right into Seolhyun's face before turning away.

As I pushed the doors of the conference room open and exited, I knew deep deep down, I was screwed. Seolhyun would go home whining to her mother about me and my dad will probably be tipped off, but I don't even know what had gotten into me when I had the mentality of shutting this woman up.

Jisoo wasn't in the office when I returned, but her belongings were still here, which somehow made me relieved.

Just then, the new guy Jeonghan walked in.

"Good afternoon, Mr Kwon. Here are the papers for the finalized hotel rooms refurbishment." He grinned, handing a small stack of papers to me.

I briefly nodded as I sat down.

"By the way, sir, can I ask you something?" Jeonghan grinned again.

"What is it?" I tilted my head, confused.

"Is that secretary of yours single?" Jeonghan smiled.

"Please do not involve any of your personal problems or enquiries in your work. You may leave now." I said, attempting to smile as nicely as I could.

I let my fingers play with the heart that was dangling on my necklace as I was quietly going up the elevator. It stopped on the first floor, which was the exact same floor as the reception counter and the staff cafe.

"One latte please." I ordered, taking out my wallet.

"Sure, that'll be 3 000 won please." The cashier smiled. His face seemed vaguely familiar, and it kind of bothered me.

As I collected my coffee and was about to leave, I felt something warm wrap around my wrist. I turned to see that the cashier was grabbing onto my hand. That was when it hit me, it was the same guy from the convenience store.

"Remember me, miss?" The cashier smirked as he yanked me towards him, my waist hit the marble counter and I grimaced in pain.

"What do you want you filthy jerk?" I hissed silently, making sure not disturb other guests at the hotel's cafe.

The cashier pulled his apron off with one hand, the other hand still grabbing onto mine, and he smirked again. "I'm off shift now. Do you want to go out for a while?"

I bit the insides of my cheek and looked away.

"Oh come on, that night that pesky little friend of yours really tortured me with her killer heels, now that she isn't here, I guess you have to abide by me now." The cashier taunted.

"I don't know who you are, so let me go or I'll scream." I said softly but boldly, struggling to free my wrist from the creeper's grip.

"I'm going to scream. I'm not lying." I hissed.

The cashier smirked. "Go ahead, th-"

"Hands off my girl." A piercing voice echoed through the cafe.
