I found myself glancing at the laptop, then glancing at the glass office multiple times.

Why?

Because my ex was in there.

With another guy.

Who turned out to be my boss.

Who I found out is a year younger than me.

"Jeonghan! Are you done with the proposal? I need to send it in for submission now!" The female colleague beside me nudged my arm.

"Ah yes, here it is." I said, picking up a file and handing it to Ji Ae.

I squinted my eyes as I observed what Jisoo was doing. She was typing. And he was...staring at her?

"Ahem, I believe you should be working right now, no?" A young lady tapped my table with her knuckle, and I jumped a little.

She looked pretty and young and she was wearing a light green dress.

"You are...?"

She shrugged and nodded. "You must be new. I'm Jung Seolhyun, this hotel's main sponsor is run by my dad."

"Oh. Good morning, Ms Jung." I bowed my head a little before resuming my work.

"Let's break up." I breathed, slowly sliding Jisoo's hand off mine.

Jisoo looked at me, perplexed.

"What do you mean? Aren't we doing well now? Why do you want to break up all of a sudden, Jeonghan?" She batted her eyes in disbelief.

"Just because. I don't love you like how I used to anymore." I blurted out confidently, casually looking around me.

I watched as a fresh tear ran down Jisoo's eyes. "I knew that you were cheating on me, and I don't fvcking know why and how I actually managed to forgive you for that."

"This is exactly why I don't want to date anymore. Because of jerks like you. Lying, cheating bastards." Jisoo hissed before turning away from me.

O-kay, so maybe last year wasn't really a good year for her. But she's already over me, right? So I think all's good.

She never even looked up once to me today. Did I really hurt her that bad that day? I felt like I was the one staring at her most of the times.

Just then, the glass doors opened and in came Seolhyun. At least she wasn't the mascara monster today.

"sOOOOOOONNNNNNNNYOUUUUUUUNNNNNGG!" Seolhyun sang as she swung herself to the edge of my desk. I quickly shifted away from her and stood up. I watched as Jisoo had her head lowered, as she stood up.

Seolhyun suddenly showed a look of disgust on her face. "Who's that?" She nodded at Jisoo.

"That's my secretary." I said curtly, glancing at Jisoo. She still had her head down.

Seolhyun grabbed my chin and brought it down. "She's a girl, Soonyoung. A girl." My chin started stinging vigorously and I shook my head away from her grip, rubbing my chin.

"Secretary Jeon, stand up to greet Ms Seolhyun. She's our partnering company's daughter." I finished, but Seolhyun shot me a glare and I sighed. "And she's my fiancee."

Jisoo bowed and raised her head. "Good morning...Ms Seolhyun."

Seolhyun's smug face faltered as she slowly raised her finger at Jisoo. "You...you! From the convenience store! You're that girl!"

Jisoo's lips parted as she seemed to recognize Seolhyun as well. What was going on?

Seolhyun's face started to show that same face of disgust like earlier, but this time, it also showed hatred. Lots of hatred.
