It had been over weeks since Haneul started working at HR department , she had an assistant now and had decided to take her work serioursly and was doing quite good , she had caught Baekhyun sneaking up onto her assistant once to ask her if she was there , she came out and asked if he needed something but he just shrugged and told her that he was just checking up on a few things with the assistant which she quite didn't swallow .

It was about the start of the week when Haneul's family gathered for a formal family dinner as they do every month , she left the company early to meet up with her brother , they wanted to get a present for their parent as a thank you gift for their help , support and love this year .

"So have you thought about something specific ?" Haneul asked as she looked through the review mirror , waiting for her brother who had his head on his phone checking a few catalogues .

"I don't know still , mother had mentioned once something about an ornmented vase , but i have no idea about father though " he pressed his lips together after saying .

"What about a pair of shoes for father , i mean i know he has got loads of pair of shoes but let's get him sports shoes how about that ?" she proposed as she drove .

"Well that doesn't sound bad , you know dad isn't much into sporty things but if you personally give him the gift he will make sure he makes a good use of it " Junmyeon laughed recalling one of the few times Haneul bought their father a gift and since he couldn't refuse it , the father had to accept it and use it .

"So sport shoes it is  and as for mother i know a shop that sells antique ornments so where do we start ?" she turned slightly looking at her brother .

Haneul parked the car in mall's car parking and got out then locked the door ,they had decided to pick up the sports shoes first for their father .

"Say Haneul don't you think the family dinner is sort of early this month?" he asked as they walked checking the shops .

"I know but if i were to be honest with you i think it's because i didn't attend the last one , you know " she explaind .

"Well it could be but there is something fishy i smell some plotting though " junmyeon squinted his eyes .

"Oh come on don't say that "

"Look , this one looks fine right ?" Haneul pointed at a shop and they got in .

"Don't you think this one is too colorful for dad ?" Haneul examined the shoe as she gnawed on her lips .

"Well we might as well make it a funny gift , what do you think ?" he winked .

"I have no idea , i mean-" Haneul got cut off when she felt a something poke her shoulder , she turned .

"Oh Baekhyun-ah " Suho called out his name .

Haneul gave him a soft smile that he seemed to like because he grinned as he greeted them .

" Hey" she greeted surprised to see him .

"What are you doing here ?" Suho asked .

Baekhyun who had his eyes on Haneul turned finally to answer .

"I was getting a few things for mother " Baekhyun answered .

"Oh well same , there is a family dinner tonight at our house and we are getting presents " Suho explained .

"oh what a coincidence , we have a family dinner as well , hyung and his wife are coming too " Baekhyun eyed Haneul who turned looking at shoes , with a smile .
