Lila picked up the wire, and as she did so she glanced at the mans landing point. She watched his descent. He landed between the woods that lay between Aun and the Unknown land. It was thought that in the Unknown land, the last of the robots and those in part, lurked, waiting for a chance to spark rebellion in even the most loyal of citizens.
Lila fingered the wire in her hands, thinking. Struck by an idea, she ran out of the room, door swinging behind her.

The man hurtled to the ground. His heart was rapid and as he got to his feet, he felt a sense of wild panic. He had escaped yet again from Lila's clutches, but he remained free of elation. He felt around in his pocket for the wires. But instead of finding the comforting feel of the wires, his hands only brushed the insides of his pockets. He now understood his unease.
What would she do with them? Destroy them? Questions filled his mind. It was at that moment when he became fully aware of his surroundings.
The woods encircled him, taunting him to come closer. The further he delved into the woods, the more he thought. Each step, his suspicions were steadily rising.
Previously, he would have known Lila to chase him down to this very spot, but his escape felt too...easy. Too easy.
Without his wires and alone, he proceeded.
