Zinc's POV

The next day I woke up to little kids screaming and jumping on me and my bed.
'What is it?' I signed to one of the older kids in my room.
"Miss Jackson wanted us to come get you and to bring you downstairs." They replied.
'Oh, alright. Go downstairs and tell Miss Jackson that I'll be down in ten minutes.' I signed before ushering them out my door.
I grabbed a shirt and some skinny jeans with my converse and beanie and started to get dressed. After that I went to brush my hair and teeth and ran downstairs.
In the middle of the main hallway stood Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph. Again. But when I looked at them, Josh gave me the biggest smile ever, like he knew something big was coming, something good.
I inwardly squealed before walking to where the sound was coming from and found Miss Jackson in the parlor with the kids running around her, but when I walked in, they stopped and turned to me with the biggest smiles ever. I turn to Miss Jackson with a confused look.
"Oh Zinc, you're gonna be so happy!" She said, smiling at me before running over to me and giving me a hug. I was honestly the most confused I had ever been in my life.
'What do you mean, Miss Jackson?' I signed.
"Oh! The children didn't tell you?" She asked. I shook my head no. "Oh my word, you're getting adopted by Joshua Dun!" She exclaimed before hugging me even tighter.
My eyes grew as big as saucers. I, Zinc Jay Believer, was going to be adopted by the, Joshua William Dun. I practically flipped my shit right there and then.
Miss Jackson and the other kids giggled as I frantically ran around the room silently screaming.
"Well, you better get packing, Zinc." Said Miss Jackson. I smiled and happily ran out into the hallway before spotting Josh and Tyler. I ran full speed towards Josh and gave him the biggest hug ever.
"Hey kid, you excited?" He asked. I nodded vigorously before running past him and up the stairs to my room.
I yanked out my suitcase from under my bed and zipped it open.
I quickly gathered my band shirts and jumpers and put them in my case before grabbing my pants and underclothes and putting them in there as well.
After all the basics were in my suitcase, I grabbed my backpack and put my notebooks, textbooks, and art supplies in there along with a picture of my mom, brother, and I at the skating rink. I sadly smiled at the picture before putting it in my bag. I grabbed the folder of my sheet music before putting it in my bag and zipping it up. I guess I have to leave my record player, vinyl, and piano here, but I guess that's okay.
I zipped up my case and rolled it downstairs to the hallway to see Josh, Tyler, Miss Jackson, and all the children all talking to each other. I clapped to get their attention and they all looked at me with glowing eyes and faces. I smiled back at them with ease. Miss Jackson came up to me and gave me a tight hug.
"Zinc, I feel like you're going to love living with Josh and going on tours and what not, but whatever you do, don't forget me." She whispered into my ear. I looked up at her and nodded sadly.
'I'll miss you, Miss Jackson.' I signed.
"I know Zinc, so will I." She said before ushering me over to Josh and Tyler.
"Ready to go small child?" Asked Tyler with a happy expression on his face. I nodded with a smile.
"Well then lets go." Josh said before taking my suitcase from me and rolling it behind him as we walked out the door. I got in the back of the car and buckled up before Tyler and Josh got in the car too. As the car was driving out and onto the street, the kids and Miss Jackson were waving and yelling goodbye.
'Goodbye!' I signed before we were heading down the road into the heart of LA.
