"Even if you call me at 3am and you are too tired to speak,I will still listen to your silence till you fall asleep."

"All the scars we shareI promise, I swear

Wherever you go, just always remember

That you got a home for now and forever

And if you get low, just call me whenever

This is my oath to you

Wherever you go, just always remember

You're never alone, we're birds of a feather

And we'll never change, no matter the weather

This is my oath to you"

"I'll never let you go"
"This is my oath to you!"

By the end of the song, we were laughing and wiping away stray tears that had left our eyes.I looked to my sides, where my best friends clung to me. They were my salvation in this unknown place. Ever since first year of university.

Who am I? Indah Gesang.

Who are these friends of mine? Well, there are four of my best friends namely, Daw (the Thai beauty), Asteria (The Bodyguard of the gang), Ayaka (Miss. Sarcastic) and Kanak (the Indian flirt). They are weird, they are crazy and they are stupid. But so am I. And I love them to bits.

These girls were engineering students like me but we were different. In a good way. And that is what makes us, well us. We are joined at the hip. All the time. From parties to school to shopping to vacations. Together. Except for our classes. They differ.

***

My phone rang and I stretched my body to pick it up from the small desk near the couch. I was a ninja, I swear, when I was lazy.

"Hello"

"Swadeekhaa Indah"

"Swadeekhaa Khun Ellah. How can I help you?"

"Always on point darling. Okay so we have an event coming up and we need you with us" she explained and I sighed, sitting up on the couch.

"What event is it?" I questioned, finally giving up on the couch and standing up.

I walked towards the study table where my planner was placed, all the while my friends eyed me curiously from their various places.

"This event is next week Wednesday, we have four days to finish planning it. It's the charity event for the orphanage" she explained and I nodded, taking a pink colored pen and jotting it down on my planner.

"Alright P'Elha" I replied, using the usual Thai term for an older person.

"Okay. I will see you at the gymnasium at 3pm" she said and I nodded, even though she could not see me.

"Alright. Good bye"

"Bye"

She hung up and I checked the time on my wrist watch.

2:45pm. Goodness.

I smirked. If I am going to work, so are my best friends.

"What's up girlie?" Said Daw.
